Al-Amin Food Store provides best quality fresh halal meat at a good price and fantastic customer service.We always place order with them to buy meat and other groceries, they always delivered that on time. Could not recommend enough. Very friendly people. The shop you can trust.

This is absolutely one of my favourite Asian food stores to buy Bangladeshi/Indian food products! The store provides a variety of Asian fruits and vegetables which not many places in oxford do.It’s always well stocked and the prices are very reasonable. Staff are always very friendly and approachable to help which is also really nice.I always buy my halal meat and chicken from here as I have found this store to provide the best quality of meat and chicken and they always cut it very nicely and clean it out very well. Even the variety of fishes they sell is of very good quality and I’ve never had any issues.In terms of hygiene the place is always very tidy and everything is always well organised so it is very easy to find what I’m looking for. I’m am very happy with the service and I highly recommend this place!

Staff are very helpful, good quality meat always given to me. Should you encounter any problems they are always willing to help and resolve the problem. I have been going there for many years and would not consider taking my business elsewhere. Great prices on other products and would certainly recommend to others.

Quality clean white and red meat, you can tell they have a high turnover which is great. Very friendly staff. Always there to help, sometimes we order over the phone and its always on point. I definitely rocommend this place, you will for sure see the difference in their pruducts compared to others in Oxford.

Not very good/polite customer service, nor is the store front very tidy. Would expect to have a huge range of choices, however left disappointed when I couldn't find certain items.I then managed to find everything I wanted in Tahmids store down the road. What I did find was also slightly overpriced and certain prices are unjustified. I say this because I again, went to Tahmids and found everything for cheaper. I also went to the Turkish shop a few doors down from them to also find the vegetables cheaper too.Sorry, won't be returning.

I'm so delighted to find this store.The best collection of fish in Oxford. Good selection of South Asian vegetables and ingredients. I like the meat section as well- they have a lot of variety, including duck meat.Very helpful and hospitable staff.Had a great experience and look forward to visiting again.

Al-Amin is a really good shop to buy Asian food from. The butchers are very kind and lovely to talk to, I would recommend anyone to go to Al-Amin. The meat is very fresh and I’ve never had a problem with anything I have bought from there, the staff is really helpful, and they show a lot of respect towards their customers.

One of the best Bangladeshi Food stores in oxford. Store has everything from Indian spices to Bangladeshi fruits, vegetables and fish. The store also sells halal meat and chicken, the customer service is also very good.

I purchased lamb meat from this meat shop this afternoon amongst other things. I was asked whether I wanted mix and I said yes. Usually when I place the same order elsewhere, they always clean the meat and take the fat off. This minced meat was mostly white. It was off putting. Unfortunately I have to use this when I really want to discard.Reading other reviews and owners response, I'm sure you may take some time out to respond to mine too. This is a genuine feeling of dissatisfaction do not put blame on the customer and please take ownership and strive to be better next time. So I, amongst others can return again. Because we want to support our community especially during these tough times. So please take this review seriously and not be reactive or dismissive.Edited to include clarification below following the response from owner:Thank you for your response. To clairfy, I am purely talking about the fat content on the meat provided. Usually the fat is somewhat removed regardless of whether it's a leg or shoulder or any other part. A butcher always cleans the meat the best they can before mincing. But I appreciate your response.

Excellent products and service.They have a range of products from fresh to frozen, to dried foods.Great competitive prices. They also have fresh meat and poultry.Gentleman serving at the counter was very helpful and polite.Guys keep up the good work...i will be back!
