Jake and LPS Advisory Ltd were superb. From the incredible response time, short notice scheduling flexibility, the personal yet professional approach to having both a phone call and a written walk through of a level two survey (even offering to jump on a follow up call post search pack results), to the extremely thorough detail with three levels of grading, I am beyond appreciative and could not recommend Jake more. If you are considering purchasing, don't consider working with anyone else, simply put.I have worked with a few other survey companies in the past, and Jake blows each and every one away. Other companies have prepared a timely report and were responsive over email, but none matched the level of detail and professionalism that Jake has. Buying a property is not a small purchase, so having a surveyor that treats their work as though it were for themselves or a family member is incredibly reassuring and makes you more confident going into your decision.

Jake has surveyed a couple of properties for me and as a result has found a few things to bring up with vendors. His help and professionalism gave us the confidence to purchase our family home and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

There are many moving parts and many experts involved in purchasing a property. Jake was, hands down, our favourite expert to deal with each of our three properties. He was always super responsive. Notwithstanding an insanely busy market, he carved out space in his calendar in short order (often at inconvenient times for him!). However, the thing which took the biscuit every time was his knowledge and commerciality. He left no stone unturned and his detailed report, complete with photos, reflected the same. Jake then had a great knack for explaining each issue to the lay person as well as clarity on the gravity of anything he found. We really can't stress enough how important he became to our buying process.

We instructed Mr Jake McGrory of LPS Advisory for a condition survey and valuation with schedule of defects for a buy-to-let flat we purchased. Jake is prompt in his response and completed the survey quickly. The report is concise and to the point highlighting what we should be looking for.
