We went and visited here at the weekend with the kiss and it brought back some lovely memories as a child coming here,and the kids absolutely loved it too!! We will definitely be back to visit again.

Sunny day, and the ride is still 50p! Enthusiastic volunteers who seem to be a great bunch, very committed to the light railway. Excellent fun. Hoping thus facility will remain open for years to come. Update: rides are 75p, but just as much fun!

It is very enjoyable to see old trains in small size and even experience riding them, which can only be experienced a few times a year. Also, the ticket price is around 1 pound, which I think is a fair price even to see the train up close. But they will take you on a train for a short distance at this price. In any case, I suggest that you try it, you will definitely enjoy it

Goffs Park Light Railway
I defy anyone not to have a huge smile on their face while riding this light railway. I took my boys, 8 and 10, and they wanted repeated goes on this short but fun journey. We loved it. You get the same coal and steam smell as at a full size railway. Just magic. Thanks to the volunteers and engineers who make this possible.

A fun little ride for people of all ages, and not just for kids. Only operate on Sunday afternoon between late March and October.

Good Park, but it could be better. We took the grandkids to the play area. The apparatus was OK, but the flooring needs updating. It was very bare in some places, and the lining was pulled through. Serious health and safety issue as you can trip on the lining and the boards holding the chipping in place was 5 inches higher than the chip flooring. The zip wire was good but again needs updating as it is very worn. We needed to fix it before each go.We have been a few times in the past and can see how it is run down.Great for a little kick of a football thought.
