Happy to sell you beers, which are pretty good, but were reluctant to offer tour, although this was about 45 minutes before closing time.

My husband had a Groupon voucher for Xmas, he was born and brought up in Rhymney. The information was well set out, showing short films of the history and how the beers are made. Included in the price which is £3.50 you get a pint of real ale. If your driving they give you a bottle to take home. The bar was lovely with views over the mountains. The shop sold T shirts, jackets, mugs etc usually suveniour items which were not expensive. £7 a T shirt. If you wanted to purchase beer they was a good assortment.We were the only two people there. It's well worth a visit if your in the Blaenavon area

popped in for a pint & to buy some beers as we heard they were good.Doors open but nobody on reception, so we followed the sign to the bar & shop upstairs ,nobody at the shop & nobody at the bar.We hung around for about 20 minutes, still nobody came.shame really cos the premises look amazing & the bar looks awesome.some nice stuff in the shop & some good beer products for sale , just no-one seems to want to sell them to you.I will put it down to just one of those days.

Was in Wales for the weekend (live in Dunfermline, Scotland) and saw the brewery was local. Unfortunately the visitor centre was unexpectedly closed and I missed sampling the beers. After messaging them they sent a couple of beers for me to try. A++ customer service and unexpected. Will give them a try and definitely be making an order soon. Thank you.
