The Scottish Shutter Company recently fitted a large lantern blind with thermal material to our master bedroom as part of the major refurbishment of a Victorian property in Peebles. We couldn’t praise the team there more highly – they have been pleasant and professional throughout the experience and the end result is quite stunning. We would highly recommend to anyone considering a similar installation!

From a first visit to the showroom where David went through all my options and made suggestions based on my needs, rather than just recommending the most expensive option. To the efficient measuring and ordering process and straight forward installation a month ahead of schedule! Can’t recommend enough. Thanks very much!

Highly recommended local company for shutters and blinds. We were looking for a replacement for curtains over a large patio window at the back of our house. The process involved a consultation at the show room then a visit by a designer to measure up and confirm materials. The shutters were custom built and fitted in under an hour by the installation team. Hopefully they'll help with insulation of the room as well as stopping our dog from reacting to every invading fox, cat and squirrel in the back garden.

Just used The Scottish Shutter company to install my shutters, absolutely love them. Company was great from start to finish, really helpful advice in choosing the right shutters to suit my windows. Company kept in touch regarding timescales for delivery and fitting.Installation was really easy, clean and stress free. Very competitive prices too. We are delighted with the high quality of our shutters which have just been installed.Meeting David in the showroom and younger David at home, it was just like you were asking your best friends for advice, everything was explained in detail, Judith kept us up to date with progress, it was a very pleasant experience.The 2 fitters that turned up to install the shutters were very professional from the start, just entering the property they removed their shoes, all packaging was taken away and hoovering up as they went along, no mess or debris, on completion they demonstrated the operation and the best settings for the shutters.We can definitely recommend The Scottish Shutter Company.

The Scottish Shutter company recently fitted our shutters, and we are very happy with them. We were extremely impressed not only with the quality of the shutters, but also with the professionalism and friendliness of the company throughout the whole process, from helping us choose our shutters, having our windows measured, to the shutters being fitted.And we love our shutters - they are infinitely adjustable to allow the correct right amount of light into each room, they keep the house warm, they reduce the noise from a nearby road, and they also look beautiful.We would definitely recommend The Scottish Shutter Company to anyone looking for quality shutters for their house.

My husband and I cannot recommend The Scottish Shutter Company highly enough. A wonderful family business where customer care lies at the heart of everything they do. They have just fitted Luxaflex blinds throughout our period home. Fabulous product and seamless first class service from our initial visit to the Edinburgh showroom right through to the fitting of our blinds. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, skilled and caring. A company you can most definitely trust.

I've used the Scottish Shutter company in 2 flats I've lived in and wouldn't use anyone else. Other companies were quite pushy and tried to upsell more expensive products I didn't need or weren't suited to my windows. Scottish Shutter company do not do that, they are very knowledgeable and give great advice on what would work. I've always had great, friendly customer service from the office and fitters and the shutters are great value. The first set still look great after 3 years. Cannot recommend them enough!

Second time we have used The Scottish Shutter Company and they’ve been excellent once again. It’s always stress free and uncomplicated, the whole team are friendly and a pleasure. The shutters are great, some are new as we’ve added more but the rest have been in for 3.5 years so far with no problems at all. Still look and hang as new. Would recommend them to my Nana!
