I am assisting my elderly mother sell her cottage through Haart Estate Agents. Local agent, Sue Clack, has been very supportive to mum and I; Assisting with any queries I've made promptly and taking time to meet with me after mum instructed the sale of the property on her own to ensure family aware of the situation. Sue has guided me through the solicitors website when I have struggled and kept us updated on any progress throughout. It is quite a stressful time for the family, particularly as we are over 250 miles away from the cottage, although Sue has taken a lot of pressure from my shoulders with her constant assistance.

Daisy was really friendly, told us everything we needed to know and let us take our time going round the property. Sue was really quick at getting information across to us and made a stressful process so much easier.

Buying my first house through Thetford Haart has been a great experience. From Sue showing us around the house whilst giving us good advice and also answering all my questions, to Marie, the Move Manager, who very much kept us up-to-date with progress reports, and Will who I dealt with in the last week and happily handed me my keys. Haart have really taken the stress out of me buying my first house, and made it an enjoyable exciting experience.

Sue was lovely to start with but unfortunately none of the details were checked with me before my property was advertised and there were many mistakes. I never authorised any details that went online. Nobody at Haart attempted to ask me to get any details authorised. At least 3 times my house was advertised online without my permission, with incorrect details, such as wrong number of bathrooms, confusing descriptions of rooms, minimal description of area , even though I told them correct information. The last time they put my house online they were fully aware I no longer wanted them to sell my house. They also won't let me out of the contract even though they can't seem to do their job. Then they have the nerve to say they introduced people and if they buy 2 years down the line I would need to pay commission? Even though nobody has seen correct details and I have had no viewings. DISHONEST and INCOMPETENTUpdate after their laughable comment:They said I had 1 bathroom when I have a main bathroom, an en suite and a cloakroom. I would have been happy if they said I had 2. But they could never get that right as Sue who somehow got to the position of branch manager doesn't know how to use the computer.Sue spent minimal time on my advert, the reason given was that all the other staff left, I can only speculate why. I got more upset the more errors I found and the fact that my listing kept being online with a just plain bad advert. It's gone to the ombudsman now so they can sort it out, I lost count of the number of code of practice provisions they broke.

As the buyer of a property, we found Sue at Haart in Thetford to be very responsive and helpful. Managing the process between us and the seller smoothly through to completion. Debbie
