Poor staff product knowledge and customer service since JD acquired it. Clearly not trained very well on the items they sell, and communication skills are lacking.Good products and good prices with the membership card.A few years ago I would give them a solid 5. Now only a 3 unfortunately .Me: I need a 1 in 25,000 OS map of Anglesey, have you got one in stock?Staff: What do you mean 1 in 25,000?If you sell OS maps and are an outdoors store, you should know this basic thing.Me: When will you get this tent in stock?Staff 1: TuesdayMe: So if I make the long journey here on Tuesday it will be in stock?Staff 1 asks Staff 2Staff 2: We get a delivery on Tuesday.Me: So So if I make the long journey here on Tuesday it will be in stock?Staff 2: Dont knowMe: You both said Tuesday, now you don't know?Staff 2: It's random what we get.Me: So I could be wasting my time and a long journey on Tuesday*Went to Decathlon and bought a tent instead*

Some great deals to be had but in order to get the best price you need a membership (costing £5). I spoke with a young lad who was super helpful and the member price was a good deal but I would not return so the membership put me off. I got what I wanted from decathlon for less and without a membership.

All your outdoor needs in one place. Coffee very good especially at Happy hour. Make sure you take advantage of the discount card. And a little extra for youth group leaders.I needed to renew my membership again today seems like evey other time I go?

Every time I go here the staff are always so helpful and accommodating. Had some gas cylinders I mistakenly bought with the wrong fitting, kindly returned for store credit. Really appreciate you all

Called to purchase Royal Scott equestrian coat this morning, checked online that my sizes in stock before travelling there! Very disappointed to be told my size wasn't actually in stock and that the online check wasn't very good, no offer to order size or check stock elsewhere! Just checked online now and still sayingmy size in stock!! Very poor customer service.

Excellent bike service and repair from Marcus. He completed it all within a few hours although we had initially agreed a few days. He updated me over the phone with his recommendations based on what he discovered which was great as its running perfectly again and I needed someone's knowledge. Very reasonable price compared to other bike shops. Thank you

Good range (maybe too much stuff). I don't like how all the advertised prices are member prices. I mean you pay £5 for annual membership so it's always worth doing but still annoying that harvesting data is so valuable to them.

Fantastic. Great range of outdoor sports clothes, equipment etc and staff are so helpful. Didn't quibble when I swapped faulty goods for new.

Loads of stuff, loads of staff but.... one person on the till, a big queue and now a loss of over £200 as I walked out! The worst thing is we are talking Black Friday so you would have thought they would have enough staff! Not renewing my club card as this isn`t the first time I`ve left the store waiting to be served!
