Original Dating

Attended the black singles event and it was a complete disaster!!! The event organisers would have known from ticket sales that the ratio of men to women was off, yet they still went ahead with the event. Only 4 men turned up and 12 women attended... Ridiculous!!! When I made contact to request a refund they keep coming up with rubbish excuses saying that all tickets had sold but the men chose not to turn up. Yeah right! In this cost of living crisis? Who has money to throw away??? They keep saying that credit has been applied to my account to attend another event (NO THANKS) but I don't even have an account, so how can credit be applied??? I've also noticed that the black singles event has never been advertised since on their website. Please AVOID and keep your money!!! Don't waste it on this terrible, FLOP of an event.NEVER AGAIN!!!

I booked tickets to an event, but the confirmation email I received had a different age range to the one advertised. I contacted Original Dating to check the event details and they confirmed that their event was advertised incorrectly on their Eventbrite listing. Understandably I wanted a refund. It took a lot of emails and chasing to get this refund and many of my emails were ignored. When I finally got a refund for the tickets, they didn't refund the full amount. They kept an admin fee even though they were the ones at fault. Therefore due to their inability to note key details correctly on their event listing, I lost money. I complained about this and my emails were ignored once again. Super poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend booking tickets to their events based on this experience.

Well organized event and the venue was superb I really enjoyed the event

The customer service team is unresponsive to any form of communications. Over the last months I’ve sent a total of 6 emails in relation to a credit voucher I have. There is no active telephone number in order to talk to anyone, so I’m basically left ignored and unable to use the voucher I have.

Organisation terrible. Oversold the event so I was sat on a table talking to men for most of it, admitted that they delivered a poor service, then refused to refund my money. There appeared to be one person there on the night running things which made it overall a disatser.

There are false people who are dangerous and it’s not safe for a vulnerable single I was on my route today and I was bullied on the train by a violent group who I recognised from original dating singles parties, so realising something is very wrong I turned around and went home for my safety. This genuine vulnerable single woman gone in favour of some pack of dogs dominatingThese are not genuine singlesBe carefulI baked muffins, i dressed myself up, seeking green eyesInstead the green eyed populus are nowhere to be found! Myself included now! That’s my race on earth replaced with weirdosAgency tries tho. What can you do??!!!

As I entered the event in London I was greet by a friendly and welcoming host who clearly and kindly informed me how the event was going to work. The host also made time for not only myself but everyone else that evening and was very friendly and approachable. The event was full of lots of different people to get to know. It was a great night out in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Ratio was over 20 women to 6 men. Host said we should complain to get a free pass next time, but when I complained, the reply was it is extremely rare that we see an unbalance". Well

Friendly hosts, nice atmosphere and a nice diverse mix of people. Love the lock and key mixers :)

I attended the Oxford event in Hank's bar. The venue was great. However, the host had some rude comments and there were around 16 women and 7 men. We were told the usual excuse, that some men decided not to turn up. It was a waste of time and women chatted among themselves more than with men.
