My order was delivered within a few days and dropped on my driveway. I have now been using the oak sawdust logs for a few weeks and they burn really well.

Avoid at all costs. Placed an order for 12 posts on a 5-7 day lead time. Posts finally ready after 14 days. Requested that all posts be 1000mm in length and needed to be fully planed and smooth all round as per our customer's requirements. When I collected them, none of the posts were the same length and one of them has a rather large piece missing from the side where a knot would have been. I now need to cut them all to the correct size and source a matching post to replace the one I cannot use. For clarity, the company has given me a 20% refund for the poor service but the impact on our business running behind on a project is far greater. UK Timber is our local supplier but I would definitely never use again. Worth paying extra for a better service and product.Update to the reply from UK Timber. So what they are trying to say is that they are unable to accurately cross cut timber to the agreed size, and that they are blaming their saw for the discrepancy of 1-2cm. As you can see from the now attached picture, the difference in lengths is actually 7-8cm. But heh!! A bad workman always blames his tools. As for the accusations of rudeness, when a supplier can't provide the agreed service, unfortunately you have to expect a certain level of unhappiness. Range of supplied posts are 990mm - 1075mm. If you can't provide the service, stop offering the service.

Was extremely disappointed in my order of sawn oak. I don't think one of them was straight most if not all unusable to top it I had to wait a month for delivery even though I was quoted 10 days max. The only good thing is they have offered a full refund.

Ordered 3 pallets of wood briquettes for delivery to West Yorkshire via eBay. Blocks were good value (cheapest I could find) and delivery was completed within 2 working days. Briquettes nicely boxed in units of 12 making them easy to store. Overall very happy and will use again.

Very impressed with customer service. Someone there to answer my call well after 5pm. Mixed length floor boards had rather more short pieces than I expected but overall I'd recommend this company.

The quality of the oak timber doesn’t meet what the member of the them explain to me like missing knots; moisture requirements for kiln dried oak (was between 15 and 18 %) most was twisted and two of the timber has holes from Wood Boring Insect which for finishing products it’s not acceptable

As I was aware their delivery timescale is 2-3 weeks then they get a 5* from me.I got a quick response from the office when I contacted them to discuss the access restrictions at my house, and they were quick to help when I needed to reschedule delivery as I was away. Access is tricky as my drive as a bend in it just where you need to go through the gateposts but the driver persisted and got the lorry through, saving me having to cart the sleepers an extra 125m.My only feedback would be to make the delivery timescale more prominent on the product pages to avoid confusion.

I would highly recommend UK Timber Ltd. The service I have received has been exceptional from the first point of contact to delivery of the items I ordered. The quality of the wood also appears to be very good.

Very good price for excellent quality Larch decking. 100mm Larch gate posts were rough sawn which is a shame as we are using them for balustrades. Delivery was good (thank you driver) despite very difficult steep access.

Good experience. Very pleased that my request to add additional notches and cut posts to size was carried out with no quibble. Quick and efficient delivery.
