Not among the biggest of Heron's stores, but covers a lot of the basics that most Heron's do. As with all of them, the focus is mainly on frozen stuff. Sometimes has amazingly good offers on, but the general variety of brands and products is limited.

Herons is a good shop for all your freezer needs the plus side to this shop is they do delivery for as little as £20 a shop with free delivery too,. So it's a canny little shop to be able to top up your groceries midweek, an Ideal shop for the older generation if they can't carry shopping with them, or a budget family or a young family too.

Sat 21st august i was in herons in hetton le hole i purchased a few items inc two pkts of 4 fresh baking potatoes not to happy i got three out of 8 the rest were black right through go to fruit shop next time ☹☹☹

Never over crowded. Excellent friendly staff who will always help and assist. For only a small store they have a good range of products and not just frozen food
