Simple instruction to leave package under front porch ignored. I checked the box on the web form agreeing that I accept liability. It was a low value item so I was happy to take the risk. Couriers do this when asked without issue. Then I discover the sorting office only opens a couple of hours each day. The assumption seems to be that nobody works and everyone sits at home all day waiting for the doorbell to ring. Hopeless.

Utterly useless hours of operation, what's the point of a post office which is open only during the few hours of the morning? Little wonder the Royal Mail is going out of business.

This is NOT the post office. It is the location for collecting packages etc which they can't deliver. Park in the large car park in Sainsburys and walk through. Open nice & early so you can usually collect on the way to work.

What use is being open for 2 hours a day? Especially if those 2 hours are when people are working?Wouldn’t mind it if parcels are actually delivered!4-6pm or 5-7pm would be much better open hours. But no. Create a situation where nobody can use the service, so it is eventually shut down.Cheers Royal Mail

Why can't the posties put mail into the box. Recently had mail hanging out of the box containing coins and tickets. I have had to send important mail elsewhere

Posties keep leaving my parcels INSIDE the black rubbish bin. It's disgusting. Behind it or inside the green recycling bin would be acceptable.

Why do you post junk mail through peoples doors when they have filled out the forms asking you to stop 550Thousand Tonnes of junk mail end's up in landfill with people not even looking at it the post office is meant to deliver letters and Parcels addressed to the home didn't think they were a Leaflet distributor as well
