I'm very disappointed. Food was average at best and expensive for what we had off of the festive menu. It tasted like it was plated food reheated in a microwave and definitely not freshly cooked. Would of liked to grumble about it to the staff, but they didn't even come back with our pudding order or second round of drinks. Perhaps we got off lightly, not having the rest of our meal served. Won't be coming back.

First visit with friends walk in 2 bar staff working not a greeting or hi how can I help u that bad start. Our table was no 23 which had been given to another family when we came in form outside to sit.Quired this staff member told us that the computer had switched the table numbers.Then proceed to carry on serving leaving us just standing there 2nd bad service eventually a different staff member seated us a table 22 .Food basic nothing special plates cleaned. Staff never asked about dessert or even offered coffee or more drinks 2 staff front of house not enough. Especially when one wasn't that sure of what he doing or appeared to be interior dark dismissal little or no atmosphere best part was the Garden will not return or or recommend to anyone.

Really lovely decorated pub spacious. Took my dad for a pub lunch on a Saturday lunch time. It surprised me as it wasn't very busy we didn't book. Great outdoor seating area too. So much variety of food. Lunch and dinner options. My dad had hunters chicken and I had a veggie burger and nachos. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food and would have again. The service was great. Would definitely recommend. Will be back soon. One thing I would say is portions were not really Large but this reflected in the price as two meals came to £20. I personally would sooner have a dessert if still hungry!

We came for Sunday dinner and was left rather disappointed.The mash is packet/frozen mash and is hard, doesn't taste nice. The peas were actual bullets which we all had a fun game of trying to squeeze them, needless to say we're nasty. Kids burger was hard and rubbery and tasted burnt, beans had a crust on top like they had been cooking for hours. The rest of the food was average at best. The cost of the food did not equate to the actual quality as we wouldn't have paid much for what was served.Garden was nice and kids play area was good. Good parking and a gluten free menu is a bonus.Suggest to get a better chef. We will never return here.

Booked for 1.3Opm, but arrived early at 1pm. Told firmly no food orders to be taken until 1.30pm, but sit at your table and order drinks, which wasn't a problem. 15 mins later no drinks!.Forgotten, so we had to order again with apologies!At 1.30pm we called someone to order our food, but thought we’d go for a starter prior to main course (feeling a little nervous).Skewered chicken was ‘tepid’ and sitting on a bed of cold pink coleslaw covered with a dark gravy-like/sauce substance. Don’t ask?We also ordered a side dish of skins on chips (but they didn’t have any skins attached)!Ordered one more drink with the meal delivery. Amazingly this was also forgotten and had to be again re-ordered!We decided to escape before a potential disastrous main course!Would not touch this place with a barge pole again!Such a shame. Used to be an amazing family pub.

It’s amazing place where Katerina will make for you perfect cappuccino, Kasia and Basia will be treated to delicious dishes and kind man on the bar will select a cocktail that will suit you! Perfect place to celebrate birthday party or just meet for cup of coffee.

Nice pub, good atmosphere and lots of outdoor space jncluding a kids play area. Only thing that let it down was the wait when we first arrived. No staff member to be seen for an awkwardly long time.

We came as a large group. Staff were nice and friendly. We ordered starters and mains. The food came out in good time. It was presented well and was delicious. Overall great service and food. There are also plenty of parking spaces.

Parking free on site, warm welcome, and guided to our table. Menus had a varied choice of Sunday roasts, with extra veg, Yorkshire puddings on request, no extra cost. Extra slices of meat were at 2.50 a slice. Our food arrived, the amount served was ample, piping hot with a serving pot of gravy. Vegetables were cooked with a lovely flavour, soft, but firm to taste, very good. The beef sirloin was tender and flavoured.Followed with sticky toffee pud and custard, ended with coffee.Service was all on time, warmly served, staff very helpful and friendly. Just a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely experience. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a Sunday treat. See you soon.
