Portfield Community Hall

A very typical community hall, looks straight up out of the 90s. All sorts of events, large and small can be held here and it's very close to the station and bus stops. Over all not a bad place it it's hardly a palace

Basic hall with few rooms. Functional. Very limited car parking which is annoying as you often have to park quite a distance away.

A fairly standard community hall. Nothing particular to write about. As ever with most community halls it could do with a bit of a facelift and decorating, but having said that, these community halls are SO important!They provide cheap and accessible opportunities for groups and clubs to rent for reasonable rates for the benefit of children and the community as a whole. Therefore it has to be commended and supported!

It's a good little place for all kind of events. My daughter does ballet there every Saturday.

Had my daughters friends party there and she is having hers there too good soze hall for a party good sized kitchen too

Brilliant hall! It was rented for our grandaughters 10th birthday and was just great. Very well kept and clean and everything you need is provided. Would highly recommend and hopefully book it again in the future.

I belong to a great art group at Portfield community centre called Flourish art group. Melanie has created a  very special special environment which is nurturing, encouraging and comprised  of  friendly, supportive and creative people. I have included a mixed media image by Eleanor Ball which is just one example of the astonishing work that is coming out of this small and friendly group. Since I joined I have watched everyone's art develop massively. There is a spirit of fun, everyone enjoying the comradery of fellow creatives.Without Portfield Community Hall this would not have been possible as the cost would probably have been prohibitive. Centres like the Portfield Community Hall are becoming increasingly important in these times for everyone's well-being.

Great value hall hire, amazing facilities including the use of a great kitchen will definately use it again!!

Nice hall with lots of facilities and equipment. No stage but great for kids parties or meetings.

Very local Community Hall for Chtistchurch Dorset. Variety of day and evening clubs to choose. Kitchen area, large meeting hall as well. Some parking available.
