Absolutely disgusted!Had a tooth out today emergency appointment arranged by NHS direct. Attended, dentist was 10 minutes late! I’m so so nervous about the dentist and it sends me high with anxiety when I go.Called me in no problems. Advised to have the tooth out. No problem.Numbed my mouth ( fear of needles).Pushing and pulling hurting my mouth.I had to stop the dentist as he was causing me so much distress and pain. Dentist was huffing and puffing. You really need to learn when a patient is very very nervous if the dentist is to be a bit more patience with them.Numbed my mouth again as I could feel what he was doing. Then told me to go sit in waiting room for 10 mins. Which I did and I had a massive break down in the waiting area. As the dentist was hurting my mouth causing me trauma. Went back in pushing and pulling my head back and forth. I advised them I’m going to be sick, just stood there and looked at me like I had 4 heads. I got up and asked can I go to the toilet I’m going to be sick. Went to the toilet. Was sat on the floor in so so much pain in my mouth bloody streaming from my mouth and being sick. Massive break down in the toilet. Went back in and he got the second part of the tooth out!Dental Hygienist I can’t praise highly she was absolutely lovely.I left there with antibiotics, and got told if anymore pain just ring 111. I got my prescription from my local chemist and spoke to them about pain relief. They were absolutely gobbed smacked the dentist didn’t give me any pain relief. Bought it over the counter. Got home and I had another massive break down the pain and the blood coming from my mouth, my friend called 111 for advice. They called the dentist to find out what was going on. When I left the dentist I had 1 bit of bandage stopping my mouth from bleeding and I was given 1 MORE, and a sheet about advice.Spoke to NHS direct they advised me to contact dentist. My friend called up had so much abuse over the telephone by the dentist and was constantly calling us over and over.Bare in mind I have a daughter to look after also. We had to go back down to the dentist to get more bandage pads for my mouth which at first the dentist was refusing to give to me. And another prescription, which we got told was for pain relief. Took it to boots. MORE ANTIBIOTICS!!!This dentist needs serious re training. I am in so so much pain. He advised my friend on the phone oh tell her to come back down we will give her stitches!!!!Stitches for what!!!Avoid like the plague!!!!Named dentist below who caused myself so so much pain and trauma.

Absolutely awful service… used to be great with Mr Barriscale, unfortunately since the new dentist has taken over it’s gone downhill rapidly .. my crown came out last year and had to wait two months for an appointment ( after being asked if I wanted to see a dentist or do it myself!!!).. it was replaced without the old cement being removed or any preparation.. it then fell out two days later! I Was then told I’d have to wait months for another appointment and to keep ringing! Well it’s now come out once again, so rang and asked to be put on the waiting list for treatment, only to be told there’s no list anymore, and to ring daily at 8.30am to get one of the two slots available for that day.. guess what, no one answers the phone as it’s permanently engaged!! Then if you are lucky enough to get through you’d have to cancel or rearrange your days work last minute to make the appointment… pathetic, unbelievable, absolutely ridiculous system! It’s no wonder the voicemail warns that rudeness to staff will have you struck off!

Girlfriend very happy with new teeth. Mr Kumar did a great job and she can now smile again with confidence. All staff always courteous despite working under extreme COVID restrictions. A good dental practice who look after their patients. Carry on the good work.

Awful treatment!! I have been with this dentist since I was first ever seen and I am now 23. I’ve not had an appointment since before covid as I was not able to be seen, then I tried to get an appointment and was told I had to wait for a phone call. I waited, my mam even went in for her check up and asked about mine to which they replied I had to wait for a phone call. When I called up today to see if I could get an appointment I was told I have been stuck off. This was due to the fact I haven’t been in in 4 years, which was not my fault. I am disgusted by this treatment.

Dr Kumar is a excellent dentist he goes above and beyond. So do all the dental nurses and receptionist's. What a fantastic practice all round.

After waiting since the pandemic, finally had my new crowns.Delighted with the results.Mr Kumar has been brilliant ,I can smile again ..

ive been with this practice for over 20 years. today I called for an emergency appointment . Was greeted by a warning threat of expulsion if I'm not courteous to the receptionist? then was told I had no chance of an appointment. even when I explained how urgently I needed to be seen. was advised to call back next month....very disappointed and annoyed .

Can not believe I have been taken off the books. I have been a regular here for 33 years + . I last had a check up March 2019 then was due March 2020, but obviously covid came. I was then seen emergency Aug 2020 March 2021 Oct 2021, Nov 2021. At no point was advised to make a check up appointment for Msrch 2023 . I work for the nhs so understood the pressures of managing backlog of appointments. I was very upset and disappointed today to be told I had been taken off the books. I had not had an email offering an appointment which I know this dentist does do. I am so disappointed and fuming. I believe I have not been treated fairly. I know have to find an alternative dentist. This is a task in its self. The receptionist recognised my voice and could not apologise enough. I cannot understand how this has happened. Very upset and feel let down by the service.

Another good appt with Hanna, a really good dentist, very thorough, very reassuring, so glad she's my dentist! If ur lucky 2 get on her list! Defo sign up. Thx Hanna.

Takes over 200 times of calling for anyone to answer to be told no emergency appointments and can't get a routine check up appointment until 3 months laterNever user to have any issues with thr dentist bur since the new dentists have taken over and its all changed its awful
