Shocking experience of a totally disinterest truck salesman today. I think I was in the way of his weekend - it was 2.30pm after all. I had money to spend on a Hilux. Oh well...And then after this post - they got in contact asking for more details. Sent more details then ... nothing. What is the point? Shame you can't give less than one start for service...

I bought a new car here in Sept 2017. At the time, I thought part of the offer was 2 years free servicing. I had my car checked in for its 1st service, the service staff were aware of the deal but when it came to collect my car I was presented with a bill and I was told that I was not eligible for a free service. I was very unhappy at the time. The service staff were great as always, I couldn't blame them. With the help of Craig Anderson, we seem to have got to the cause of the problem. That is, in August the free service offer was available but the offer changed in Sept when I bought the car. So that's something to watch out for if you are car buying. Many thanks to Craig for turning an unhappy customer into a more contented one.

Great delearship! Can't say more than that, really. Oh, yes I can! The restaurant at the garden centre nearby is very good and the ideal place to spend time if your car is in for a 'quickie'.

I was interested in purchasing a car from this Toyota dealership & wanted to find out how much of a trade in I could get for my current car. Alan contacted my very shortly after I'd sent them my email & is very impressed. We arranged that he'd come out the same day to give mine a socially distanced once over. I was assured that once he'd spoken to his sales manager he would phone me right back that very same day & let me know how much I could get for the trade in. That was last Sunday & I'm still waiting!!! I wanted to buy local, if at all possible due to the pandemic but after the complete radio silence I decided to go with a dealership that actually contacted me back when they said they would! Well more fool you because I ended up spending £9550 on a pristine Honda Civic 1.6 I-Dtec Sport from a garage who actually contacted me back when they said they they would & delivered it to my doorstep. That money could have been yours! I was even prepared to buy your car, complete with the damaged alloys and all over scratched bodywork that you never spoke of in any of your adverts! You lost out on nearly £10, 000, perhaps next time time you'll pick up the phone!!! Poor show!!!

I never had the chance to visit this brach! However I phoned them on the 12th January 2023 to reserve a Toyota Corolla, anonymous guy took my details to send me a video of the car and never heard back from him!I phoned them again on the 13th and asked them again for the same thing, they took my details again and assigned a salesman called James to me, they send a video of the car and never asked me if I wish to reserve the car! Sounds awfully strange and far away to compare it with a professional approach.Then I asked if I can have the car reserved so they said the car can only be reserved for 48 hrs, it was Saturday and I said because I have work commitments I can only come on Friday so they asked for £500 deposit! That one was also new to me!So I phoned them back on Monday and I said I have cancelled 4 driving lessons and I can come on Wednesday, they said oh the is in body shop and won’t be ready even for next week! Very good! And I am still waiting on my refund!Have my concerns raised to Toyota already!

Called to enquire about having private plates made and fitted. Was able to go the next morning at 8.30, presented my paperwork and car was ready 20 mins later.Quick & easy, enjoyed a coffee whilst waiting. Was £23 for both plates made & fitted

I have been using border toyota St Boswells for servicing my vehicle sam and grant have always been very helpful when servicing my vehicles and if I need advice from the.The staff are always pleased and friendly.And do a class job when any repairs need done keep up the good work

We live in St. Boswells and going to the Toyota dealership there seemed like a good idea as we are interested in buying a Toyota Hilux or something similar. A sales person did come out and ask if we wanted to buy second hand or new. We replied second hand. There were only a couple of trucks available and he told us what was vatable. I asked him how much a new truck would cost as a matter of interest. He replied that he didn't know and that it would take months anyway. Totally disinterested. He then walked away. It wasn't so much what he said but more how he said it. Maybe just having a bad day! It was a disappointing experience and it now looks as though we'll have to head to Edinburgh to spend our money.

I did not think buying a car could be as much fun as buying one from Parks Border Toyota mainly down to Laura Rae the sales girl who just couldn't do enough to make sure we were completely happy.
