I recently purchased a used VW from Riben motors, I found the service to be friendly & informative.The owner Richard happily provided a warranty, not that I need it, its an excellent vehicle @ a decent price.I`ll definitely go back for a wonder round the car lot, there's even free coffee & biscuits

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE!!! Dishonest and rude owners! It's years ago now since I attempted to buy a car from them (but the ownership hasn't changed) and left a deposit. They came up with excuse after excuse for me not to take the car and it went on for over a month until I finally gave up and went back for my deposit. They were incredibly rude to me when I went back and the stress and expense they caused me over the month of not knowing how long I would be continuing to use public transport for was huge. By the looks of the other reviews perhaps it was just as well and I ended up with an excellent car from Ashbank Motors.

I recently bought my first car (Hyundai i10) from this dealership, Richard was helpful and easy to talk to, answered all my questions and wasn’t pushy with his sales. He put 2 new tires on for me, had new back brakes fitted, all service history provided and also took a lower price than the asking. Overall happy with my car and would recommend.

I bought a Golf plus that was advertised with service history and 2 keys. I was told that the spare key and service history would be given to me when I collected the car as they were not at the garage at the time.When I picked the car up the spare key and service history still wasn't there.I chased Richard for nearly 2 weeks, before finding out that although he had the spare key, there is no service history. This car was due a cam belt (expensive job) Richard wouldn't give me the cost of the job my way to compensate, so I ended up returning the car. To be fair, Richard gave me a full refund.Make sure everything is there before taking the car, I had good faith, only to be let down.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE I bought a 2003 green Fiat Punto and within a week the power steering completely failed whilst driving on the motorway! I took the car in to the garage and they reassured me it would be fixed, this took them a week and a half but when I tried to contact them during this time they told me they would ring me back after 5 minutes at least a dozen times and never did! When i eventually got the car back they hadn't fixed the problem at all and the power steering failed again! I had to get towed home and took the car back! I was going to take the matter further but they agreed to give me a full refund, not much compensation after putting me in danger twice!

Highly recommend! I bought a 2017 Citroen Berlingo off Riben Motors - Richard was nothing but helpful. I travelled down from Cardiff where Richard provided me with a full service and 12 MOT before we came down to pick up the van. The advert was described exactly how we saw the van - 2 keys , full service history , and Richard even included £50 of Diesel for us! Couldn't be more happy with the experience and the van for my business. Thanks Rick!

I was a bit worried when my husband told me he had put a deposit on a vehicle and I looked at the reviews. I am happy to report that two months later we have had no problems with the vehicle and all seems to be A1. So our experience has been faultless. Credit where credit is due

Hassle free sale. Traveled from Scotland to buy a car. Richard was honest about the car and was willing to drop the price for a cracked tail light. Reasonably priced the car was ready for me to drive back to Scotland the same day. Richard was easy to deal with and not pushy with his sale he held the car with only a small deposit. I was a little disappointed that he didn't get time to change the oil and filter but it was no great drama as the service history reflected this had been kept on top off. Overall happy enough.

Recently purchased a Suzuki Alto from Riben Motors - Rick the proprietor could not have been more helpful. The vehicle received a full service and 12 month MOT before we collected. As a local family we have purchased vehicles from this garage previously and are happy to continue doing so. Just bear in mind though that he does not employ a receptionist so will get to your call when he can!

Avoid this company. Fortunately I only lost my deposit before I realised the man was an inveterate liar. I got the whole not returning calls thing, lying about timeframes and jobs we'd agreed upon, and with a witness present! The advert for the car I was interested in is still up on the 'net, it is wildly inaccurate and has not been changed despite the trader's knowledge that the ad is wrong. Sadly this individual suits the car dealer crook stereotype.
