Ooh, what a fascinating place! You can buy and sell things here if they are nautical.

Visited my friend here 4 or 5 times who has a motor cruiser. Very pleasant place. Showers were a little bit slow to heat up tho. Apparently its a very reasonable place to store a boat including electric, WiFi etc and some all year residency happening here, seems like a lovely existence to me.Decent walks nearby. Close to the motorway bridge, but you can't really hear the traffic, maybe the odd lorry. Was lovely going up the Hamble on my buddy's boat and a privilege to have been invited.

Wow! What an amazing place! This is a bit like a treasure trove of boating bits and bobs that I found on ebay, and rather than pay delivery costs, since they had a shop open to the public I decided to visit, and I'm glad I did... Parking is ok, I think I just picked a busy day. Access to this store is via a pathway and up a ramped slipway that isn't ideal for people with mobility issues or wheelchairs. The store itself is very old, set on a old concrete barge, I mean, how cool is that!? This being the case, it saddens me to say it isn't wheelchair friendly. There is however a but, that being that the staff I spoke with were really friendly and helpful and knew their stock quite well. So, how about the shop. Well, it's packed with things salvaged from a variety of vessels, big and small, there are new things and used things, old things and obsolete things! Cleats, lighting, dials, hoses, electrics, things I don't even know! They also do nuts, bolts, screws, washers, clips, clamps, rigging etc, etc. Then at the back is the rope room, and there is a lot of ropes!... Downstairs is the propeller room, Holy Moses! You never did see so many props in ur life! You turn around and there's even more stuff, cables, things for this, things for that, fittings and stuff that isn't even made anymore!!!... All good stuff too, I went for one thing, brought five things! Prices? Well, if ur looking for something old or no longer in production, then actually, the price isn't going to be too bad bcoz it was likely brought by the store back when things were cheaper, so they've no reason to bump the price up to something silly just because it's old or a one off. Most newer items I noticed were either the same as other local stores or even a touch higher in price, which was a bit sad as these treasure trove shops really do need to be kept going, so yes, I did purchase some items that were newer, and whilst they were a little more expensive, (although great quality), other items I purchased new I wasn't able to get elsewhere and got them at a bargain price, so, swings and roundabouts. Needless to say, I will definitely be returning to this store, and dragging a friend with me, oh, I forgot to mention the items on the roof joists, there's items there too!...

Really helpful knowledgeable staff. They stock pretty much anything and everything. It would be easier to list the items they don’t have! Great to go in and look around. Don’t forget the new cafe that has just opened at the end of the pontoon! Bacon rolls and coffee mmmmm

Follow Mr & Mrs R on TikTok. Truly an Aladdin‘s Cave of boat bits and more. I always go there first because if they have what I’m looking for, I can well expect it to be a very good price.

Always my first place to look for boat bits, especially if its out of production and unavailable elsewhere.Trade in any unwanted boat bits so the rest of us can stretch our £ further and #reuse them, a fantastic resource.

A place we go to first for anything for the boat. Always interesting, old stuff, but also wide range of all the screws, nuts and bolts you would ever need.
