Dicksons Hot Stop

I've spent the better part of two decades in hospitality and catering, I generally come here every few days as it's near the tip. The lasses are lovely but for the love of all that's holy stick someone with basic leadership skills in the van with them. Constant lack of cooked items and stress levels are high. No grasp of pre cooking or stock levels. Proper throws them off if someone orders an egg. Someone needs to get in there and teach them how to anticipate footfall and cook items accordingly. You can go in sometimes at around midday and they are out of savaloys. Its outside a Dickson's factory. I used to serve two wedding breakfasts and 100 walk in covers between 5/7 and never stressed this much. I wouldn't even say anything because tbh I always get fed, it just gives me anxiety when I come here because I know how it could be thriving.

As a foreign it was difficult to be understood. The lady on the cashier seems to be in a rush and not willing to explain the menu. After all I manage to get a hot Sandwich which was good.

Got there for a bacon sandwich before work to be told not yet open ..drinks only be 15 mins for hot food....fair enough...waited for 20 mins...went back to order..to be told that it would be yet another 15 minutes...rubbish.

Food always spot on and ladies are super friendly

Food is ok if your in a hurry but the older women behind the counter have no manners, no yes please or thank you ever, many customers mention it, puts me off going back

Best food van for miles.

Staff were pretty miserable with limited customer service skills. They were more interested in getting cleaned up, ready for closing, which wasn't for another half an hour!

Not sure what the difference is between the normal bacon sandwich and the large one

Great place for lunch. It has a huge range of sandwiches and mini meals that always hit the spot. The service is good however you can wait a while if your order needs cooking, it's usually worth the wait though.
