Very fairly priced, considering it is a tourist location hotspot. They sell toys and gifts which were great for keeping the kids occupied on the beach. Cold drinks in the fridges and plenty of water.Great little shop.

Lovely beach with miles of sand and dunes. Parking is by the hour as opposed to an all day charge down the road at Putsborough. Cafés and beach shop were excellent. There are beach huts for hire at £20 a day and also a surf school

A lovely beach.Good facilities on the way down to the beach, including showers, toilets and a cafe.There are also facilities to take wheelchairs on to the beach.The sea is long walk when the tide is out but the water comes in a long way.There is plenty of room for everyone on the beach although it is worth checking where the high tide line is before setting up.Overall a great day out.

We hired one of the all terrain wheelchairs from the shop which meant that we could have a fantastic afternoon on the beach with my 85 year old Gran who hasn't been on the beach and in the sea for many years!It was so easy to push and was only £5 for the half day.It was all ready to collect when we arrived and staff were really friendly and helpful showing us how to work the breaks on it.We also had some really nice pasties and ice creams from the cafe.We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Saunton Sands is absolutely beautiful every single day of the year. The beach shop provides good quality hot food all day long to set you up perfectly before you enjoy the 4 miles of golden sands
