Smart attire should be worn. Jeans and trainers and lady behind bar in dining area wore a yellow summer trouser dress not good for a hotel restaurant. Roast beef was mooing red raw asked for well done chef just turned the meat round and gave me end bit burnt and a little only bit. Apart from that good. Will come again.

Amazing, varied menu. Food well presented and tasty. Extremely helpful, keen to please staff. Clean and well decorated public areas. We spent the whole evening in the bar area then the night in our campervan in the car park with an amazing view out to sea.A perfect night. Really want to revisit.

Stayed a few nights with the family, very comfortable family room. Clean and well provisioned and as we were on the top floor, excellent views of the sea.Very close to the beach /sea (a gentle stroll of less than 10 minutes).Good selection of food available, the roast dinner is to be recommended, very tasty.Good hot (full English) & cold breakfast (pastries, cereal, toast etc) available.The bar has a good range of draught & other beers and other drinks.Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We all had a relaxing time when we were there after a day of doing things out and about.Will definitely be booking there again in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous place, clean and cosy vibe. Staff were prompt, friendly, and very helpful. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday carvery. The Dormy House was highly recommended by locals and that recommendation was very well earned. Definitely visit if you're ever in the area.

Got a phone call just before we arrived to say we would have to change rooms after first night but when we arrived Freeman sorted that out for us. Comfortable room and the restaurant was very good. Parking was difficult as there were so many non residents eating so had to move our car to the carpark late at night.Lovely area with plenty to do.

Had a Carvery here for first time, roast potatoes looked crunchy but sadly they were chewy...probably under heat lamp for too long? We were one of the first there. Other than that the food was nice, nice location and good service

Booked ahead so we could stop over in our campervan, aslong as the pub was used they were fine. The staff are so friendly and welcoming , food was to die for , can see this being a regular stopping point. Dog friendly and a relaxed atmosphere- perfect

We called in for lunch with our puppy Lola, the staff were most welcoming and really friendly. The wife had the carvery whilst I had Ham, eggs and chips along with a delicious starter each, generous portions of quality food, that in itself is a rarity these days. Lola was given gravy bones, so that pleased her. We can certainly recommend and we have no hesitation in returning and hopefully soon. In all, a pleasant lunch. Thank you.
