Hotel ok basic. That's what I ordered. It was spoilt by a young person who had an attitude when we went in the Ibis restaurant. We turned around and walked out. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. So did not need to stay there any longer, which was a shame as all the other staff were so friendly. Would visit the hotel but not the restaurant.

Great retreat for a walk if you just want to get away from the busy city life, Its like a small recluse in the middle of mayhem but your sheiled by the trees from the motors and the anarchy of everyday life.

I grew up playing in this park and loved it right up until the new Alder Hey was built and they have ruined it behind repair, they took so if the land to build the eyesore that is called a hospital with a promise that the same amount of land would be returned once the old hospital was demolished, well that promise has not materialised and no one believes any more of the fake promises. I really miss this park as I have so many very happy memories of it and sadly that's all that is left just memories.

Nice place to walk your dog or take your little ones to the park and for a picnic you may even be lucky and see the air ambulance land at alder hey which is just next door. Its just ashame the new park isn't there but it's usable and a lot better than it was this time last year. My two year old loves it

Improvements to the children's area urgently needed, health & safety issue! Good improvements have been made to paths & lovely little walk through paths through the trees. Need a proper memorial for children instead of the mountain of soft toys & streamers, completely understandable but also a health & safety issue for users of the park.

Well presented garden did not do the tour. The restaurant needs needs tweeting waited nearly 15 minutes for drinks and they managed to get it wrong. Will come back probably in the spring.

Thanks to Friends of Springfield Park (FOSP) The park now has vegetable and flower beds. Lovely place to go for a picnic.
