Hockerill Dental Bishop Stortford

I've always been extremely nervous of dentists. I have used the Hockerill dental practice since moving to the Bishops Stortford area 11 years ago and this is the first dental practice I've have been to that makes me comfortable in the pain free treatment I receive, and the honesty of their advice.

Truly recommending this particular dental practice. As I experienced dental procedures in the past, non of them come near. They are truly amazing, especially Dr. H.J. Opperman as my personal dentist has a hand of an angel.

First class practice in Bishops Stortford. I have been going for years and they are genuinely great. The team at Hockerill Dental even makes the more complex dental procedures seem relatively straightforward and pain free. The ‘after service’ is excellent also.

I can’t speak highly enough of Ashmi. Having been treated by her at her old practice and been highly impressed by her care I followed her to Hockerill, even though it is significantly further from home. She is so professional, talking knowledgeably through all the steps of treatment, very thorough and incredibly kind. She has a very personable manner and a visit to see her is a real pleasure, not something often heard about visiting your dentist!

Fantastic dental practice. My wife, our children and myself have been using Hockerill Dental over the past eight years and have always enjoyed first class care. However, I want to particularly call out the way my dentist, Ashmi Hindocha, has taken care of my elderly mother over the past year. Until recently, my mother has always been in the care of NHS dentists. As my mother has gotten older, her dental needs have became more complex but unfortunately her previous two dentists were unable to provide the level of care and expertise mum needed. Mum suffered terribly with very ill fitting and uncomfortable dentures for a number of years. In the end, I decided to take her to Ashmi who has been nothing short of outstanding. During the entire process, from initial examination through to final fitting, Ashmi has showed great care, diligence, patience and empathy to my mum and has been incredibly gentle and kind on each and every visit. From the outset, Ashmi took the time to explain what is involved in each step of the process so mum knew exactly what was happening and why. After multiple failed attempts by other dentists to provide mum with a decent set of dentures, Ashmi has done an amazing job and succeeded where the others failed. Ashmi’s best in class expertise coupled with her ability to work incredibly closely with her dental lab partners has enabled her to provide a set of dentures that are pretty much perfect. The fit is excellent, my mum can eat pretty much anything without any discomfort or concern about them moving around and from an aesthetic point of view the new dentures have transformed mum’s smile. My mum is absolutely delighted and I personally could not be more grateful for what Ashmi has achieved for mum. I would not hesitate to recommend Ashmi not just only for highly complex needs like my mum’s but also for everyday routine dental care that most of us need.I should also add that the Ashmi’s dental nurse, Agnieszka and all the reception team at Hockerill Dental are also a pleasure to deal with - always welcoming, professional and helpful. I’m quite a nervous patient but on every visit, Dr Opperman and his staff have been kind, understanding and considerate. The treaty itself has always been carried out with the utmost professionalism, with everything explained to me simply and thoroughly.

It's been a long treatment journey for sure but I couldn't of been in a more safer professional service than that of David Nolte and his assistant Kendall. Oh boy, what a top class team they make!. Throughout my many treatments I was made to feel comfortable and totally reassured by David's knowledge, advice and his thorough work ethic along with Kendall. Overall I'm extremely happy with the results.Thank you for putting scary dentist visits well into the past!
