We had the most wonderful afternoon celebrating a family birthday last weekend on the Silver Tern. Alex was so friendly, helpful and accommodating and the boat was just perfect. We sailed up into Henley and back enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Highly recommend to anyone interested in a private charter along the Thames.

We spent a relaxing afternoon with friends cruising along a, for me, less familiar stretch of the Thames with lovely scenery, in the comfortable Silver Tern whilst enjoying a delicious afternoon tea. Thank you so much Alex, it was great!

Our family had a delightful 2 hour cruise up and down the river between the locks at Shiplake and Marsh lock towards Henly. Celebrating a family birthday we enjoyed a some alcoholic beverages and some snacks we took aboard. Communications with Alex was excellent arranging the booking and his brother Chris was an excellent skipper on the day. We were blessed with lovely weather and also able to soak up the sun bobbing along the Thames. Only wished we could have booked longer in hindsight, but we had to get to land for other birthday arrangements.

I booked Silver Tern Charters for my husband’s 30th birthday and the whole family for 3 hours. It was such a lovely day. Alex was really helpful and accommodating. We bought our own snacks and drinks on the boat and he provided us with cooler bags and cutlery. The whole family loved it. Couldn’t recommend more

Absolutely loved our boat trip. Alex could not have been more helpful beforehand with planning. He sourced a fantastic caterer for lunch, and was a genial host while we were onboard. We were lucky enough to stay by the river so he picked us up riverside from our AirBnb! He is also very competitive on price, and the boat itself is lovely.
