This surgery doesn’t even deserve 1 star !! May as well use Google to diagnose as use this surgery if you could actually get an appointment! Probably be safer too . My mum is currently on end of life with cancer as the doctor not referring her to the hospital after having an ongoing condition.I do not under understand why this surgery is being allowed to still practice being so incompetent.Practice manager please do not post your automated apology as it just shows how unprofessional and insincere you are!!

Absolutely disgusting how these staff treat I ran out of medication over the weekend I told the staff I'd run out they wouldn't even give me the prescription until due date which was on the Monday it's time the staff was struck off in pain all weekend all because of two days.ill definitely be making a complaint one person who does the repeat prescriptions it will be her who iam gonna complain about she's so rude and don't care if your in pain over the weekend disgusting hoveru very very RUDE RECEPTIONIST w she treats people. All these complaints about the receptionist and its still goin on unbelievable.. just wondering if the receptionist is actually medical trained

I waited on the phone for 45 minutes just to be told by a rude receptionist that there are no more appointments available. I was ringing on behalf of an elderly family member and I told the receptionist that it was urgent. She was unbothered and tried to get me off the phone as quick as possible by repeating ‘we have no more appointments available’. This is not the first time I have had bad service with this surgery and it definitely won’t be the last.

Rang up on the 31st for a new sick note. Waited 2 days for it to be sent through text. Didn’t receive. Rang up a few days later and the receptionist said they had NO record of me ringing up on the 31st. I asked if it could be sorted today and she refused saying no more sicknote appointments available. Rang the next day AGAIN to request the sick note. Receptionist said it would be processed and that was at least 2 days ago and STILL NOTHING. No wonder so many people are going downhill around the area when there’s receptionists thinking their bouncers of the NHS simply do not want to help people. Disgusting.

I'm putting one star just so I can leave a comment otherwise I'll get a zero. the receptionist is just horribly unpleasant on the phone they don't care about your health they are just good at telling you there is no appointment and to call back the next morning at 8am and when you call back the next day it's the same thing you wait an hour only to be told that there is no appointment and to call back the next day etc. even for emergencies they ignore your case. it's a real shame

Absolutely shocking patient care.They mess patients around with their medications. Have no concept of liaising with each other, within the practice.I've practically had to do the work myself, in order for me my medication to be prescribed. Avoid at all costs!!!

Maria and Helen rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. My dad passed away last week and when I rang up they laughed at me and said I got the date of birth wrong (which I did not) impossible to get appointments or medication...I could go on and on...place needs closing down ASAP!!!

I don't even think I got to see a Doctor after a month and a half wait I sat there and the person I sore just typed on the computer and said come nack in 1 weeks for blood test ..I had no check up not even blood pressure ta jen what a waist of time .it said practitioner nurse on the door so as I say I don't think it was a Doctor I seen

Doctor is not understanding. Does not give opportunity for patients to explain problem. Very unprofessional

I work in the front line of the NHS. It is not an easy job and I’m confident when I say a huge bulk of our work is out of good will. So my expectations on GP surgeries in general is I would say, a realistic one (low), despite knowing there are real hardworking and genuine people behind those reception desks and closed doors. Long queues, appointments that is impossible to get, miscommunication etc. Often than not, It’s a systemic problem rather than individuals.Despite the above, I was very dubious about this GP surgery when I saw the review. But due to the catchment area, I had no choice but to register. Months after receiving confirmation on registration(via email and text msgs), I had to book an appointment. After 30 mins queuing on the phone, I found out that they don’t have me in their system. Again, nothing of this sort is news to me. But what really impressed me was the way receptionist at the time dealt with the problem. Very professional, non-dismissive with a can-do attitude (sorry didn’t get her name. But she was ?blonde, has a ponytail with glasses, average size)This was rectified straight away and she made sure that I could still speak to a GP (Dr Quinston at the time) the same day. Dr Quinston was great! My health was addressed and problem at the time was eventually resolved.So I gave 4/5 only because they lost my registration the first time. Otherwise, I would’ve given them full mark, acknowledging their hard work in a sinking system.
