Carol a so called call centre contact. Discussed why moorcroft debt company we’re sending threatening letters to someone with disabilitiesReason given by carol dd failed last year after you paid off your bill in full!Now you’re in debt to us but your not as your paying monthly stillThey have set a one time payment for wateringSomeone forgot to correct your bill. It’s not your fault or oursFor the first time I have never heard a call centre operator raise and shouting down the phone you are not listeningThere are no managers available we do not have managers but very busy and they are on the phones tooSupposedly getting a call back off managementAsked for a copy of talk but was told no as carol only kept conversations she decided to saveAbsolutely appalled

The team involved in actioning my request for a water meter to be installed were first-rate. I can't fault the team who installed the meter in the pavement outside my house, either!

Updated- not only I had to call to set up payments , now they have sent me letter saying my account will be passed on to debt collectors!!!! South Staffs water, you are going to pay and rectify any detriment that you have caused me, I will be getting the recordings of all the calls I have had with you. You absolute waste of a company. Disgusting. Called this morning, lady was not listening and kept speaking over me; I asked nicely if she could let meSpeak and then she hung up on me. CalledBack and now the wait times are an hour. Why would you employ someone that hangs up on people? Vile. This lady was abrupt and rude , as if she has never worked in customer services anymore.

So many issues with South Staff Water, they are just awful and we have no way of doing anything about it.Reported a leak 6 weeks ago on our road and they still haven't fixed it. Lost 100,000's litres of water, and still not fixed.Reported issue online, got a reference by email and text and yet when I call them they say they cant find the reference.Their customer service is truly awful, they never have a clue about anything.

This company seem to be having technical issues all the time. This has been going on for six months now. I still haven't received my bill from them since last year September and they are supposed to bill me every six months. Also, I spoke to someone last week about issuing me with my bill and was told this would be done. Still nothing received. My account suggests I don't have a water meter but I do have one. Something is not right with this company and nobody seems to listen to their customers. Very poor customer service from this company. Improve your service, as we do not have a choice but to accept such terrible service.

I had a water meter installed for my Mother on the basis that she will only be charged for water she has consumed and would be billed twice a year by Direct Debit like she has payed for the past twenty years.She gets quite confused handling her affairs so I help her. I was quite shocked to find on her account that she was being charged £20 a month? It took several calls to shake this 'Payment Plan' off. The property is currently unoccupied!Everything was quiet until a month ago she received yet another bill for £35 this time. When I called up I was assured that this was money owed and I stupidly paid it over the phone.I told the call handler that I felt very uneasy about this and why was money was not taken from her account via Direct Debit?I was assured that she would remove this Pay Plan and she would be billed twice a year for the water she consumes ( I'm on a meter and have never had to pay anything but what I use.)My mother has checked her mail to find yet ANOTHER BILL one month later for £35 and it's due tomorrow?!!This is an absolute disgrace and it's the needs investigating. My Mother is a pensioner and is suffering mentally. She does not need to be scammed and should not be treated like an easy target by this company.Thanks to this I will be on the phone again tomorrow and I don't hold out any hope that this will be resolved or that she is going to receive her money back. I hope the complaints process is easier than this as I am not going to give up and the next call I make will be recorded for my purposes.……. Ps I’m adding to this review one week later…. I was assured that the bill was a mistake and to ignore it. Her next bill will be sent out in July…. guess what? £35 HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM HER ACCOUNT.

Had reason to call south staffs water on Monday 11th of September as we could not locate our outside stop tap admittingly the lines were very busy during the day however during the evening we got through right away spoke to a guy name Ryan who could not have been more helpful and obliging Ryan said he would try to get someone out for Wednesday if possible however Tuesday morning two guys arrived from south staffs water quickly located the tap and made sure it was working so on this occasion thank you south staffs water for a first class service.

Been trying to get an amount of money back from this company which I'm owed. Spoken to 2 customer service agents and been assured it would be refunded on both occasions. Guess what, no refund either time. What an absolute joke for an organisation that would in reality go to the wall if customers could go elsewhere. So now it's complaint time and if need be, the small claims court because I'm sick to the back teeth of these incompetent unprofessional amateurs!

Just had a water payment plan sent to me of £ 172 a month in last tenants name. He hasn’t lived here since 2013. I have lived here since 2014 and my water bill has been paid every year and is only £301 a year. This is pretty shocking that such a big boo boo can be made like this. Anyone else having a similar problem.i was waiting for my water bill this year. all previous bills of the last 8 years are paid. My details are already on dark web because of their cyber attack and they sent me a letter about it in my name earlier this year. So it baffles me that I’m been sent a payment plan in last tenants name. Been trying to contact them now about the problem for nearly 2 weeks and the call is constantly on hold and never goes any further.

Ripped me off paid double in the first 3 months I moved what I paid the following 6 months. Think they were trying to claw back previous tenant's bill.They also dump fluoride in the supply, supposedly for our teeth. You don't drink suntan cream to protect your skin!
