We booked our daughters christening for over 50 adults and 10 children. The staff went above and beyond to make our party come together. The food was lovely, and extremely reasonable. The presentation was brilliant. GLH also allowed us plenty of access to get in and set up decor before which made it the perfect day.

Once again, Paddy and his staff deliver. No pretence. No dramas. Just a good, well organised family run business that is always a pleasure to visit. Excellent food and craic. Pleasant attentive staff and THE BEST BREAKFAST IN NEWCASTLE.

Have only eaten,not stayed in GL.It is one of the best restaurants in Newcastle.Best avoided at holiday occasions MD, FD as it is very busy. Good base for local golf at Royal County Down.

Beautiful Guest House and Restaurant which is open to the public in the beautiful Town of Newcastle County Down Northern Ireland. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely amazing and delish. Great choice for vegetarian and kids menus as well. Very Reasonably priced and very quick Service too. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Stayed here for a friend's wedding in August. Room prices were good, staff were amazing, rooms are good and so was the food. They really went out of the way to help us when we needed. Would definitely stay again
