A meandering path through the marshes, so quiet and peaceful and only a short distance from the city. Walk through fields of grazing cows, stop by the river and watch the trains as they go past on their way into or out of the city. Hear children playing on the rope swing over the river, glorious.

The countryside is 10 mins from our door step. Swans, Herons, Woodpeckers, Robins etc. can be seen here. Apparently there are otters and Kingfishers here as well. Although, I've yet to see them. Beautiful walks all seasons.

Beautiful place, the kids loved it! Parts of the river are so clear you can paddle in it, and there are wonderful trees to climb.

Lovely scenery while you walk around by the river and across fields and woodland. 2 main entrance points where you can park. The dogs love running around. There is wildlife such as deer so dogs that can't be trusted should be put on a lead. Thankfully the cows are across the river in another field.

A wonderful place to visit, hard to imagine that you are so close to the city. Only downside is the restricted parking.

Lovely wild space, there is only a partial rough path so not wheel chair friendly. The ground is, unsurprisingly, marshy so good walking boots or in wetter seasons wellington boots are needed.Good for wild swimming or just a nice nature walk listening to the birds

Lovely short walk along river and marshes, ideal to take your dogs for a good run without driving far (if you live in Norwich) and great for kids to explore the wild life

Beautiful area to walk. Small car park, Lovely wooded area and lovely marsh and river walk. Plenty of options for short/longer walks. Some Seating dotted around. My teen boys loved the rope climb up hill in the woods and the rope swing over the river. No facilities nearby.
