Optical Express Laser Eye Surgery, Cataract Surgery, & Opticians: Leeds White Rose

I have been a customer of Optical Express for many years. Together with my wife we have always found the staff very polite and helpful. I recently felt the need of a second test because of my discomfort with my distance glasses.The optometrist was very careful in examining my eyes Extremely patient with the test and did explain that the fact I have injections in both eyes for macular degeneration every eight weeks will distort the vision.I chose to have a second pair of glasses as a back up.Many thanks to all concerned

My wife recently had a consultation at the White Rose Clinic, the service she received was absolutely first class and she has booked lens replacement surgery. Sophie who advised us, was newly qualified but very professional and friendly.

Okay having any kind of eye surgery is not something that a person looks forward to. My journey to have my eye lens replacement began with an assessment in the York branch. To be honest I did not have the best experience there and wondered whether I should continue. However, the surgery and pre-op investigations were done in Leeds. I cannot recommend how good the Leeds branch were. I was greeted by professional and knowledgeable staff who were friendly and gave me the information that I needed to feel reassured that the surgery would go well. Even with this information there is still a level of anxiety, however, I needn't have worried. I was well looked after on the day of the surgery and my partner who accompanied me was also made to feel welcome. I spoke twice with the surgeon carrying out the procedure, once on the telephone before the surgery and on the day of the procedure. He answered all my questions and gave me details of what he planned to do. It has been a week since my surgery and I feel fine. My eyes are a bit itchy and dry but this is easing off. My ability to see my surroundings in technicolor and in so much detail is still psyching me out. I love to read all the small print on products, without glasses, and my vision is just perfect. So, thank you to all the surgeon and the staff team at Leeds for making my experience as comfortable.

Extremely pleased with the whole experience of my first eye test, and choosing my first set of lenses with new frames.The staff were really, really friendly and very professional throughout.First impressions are so important for any type of service and my experience of Optical Express in the Leeds White Rose Centre could not be better to date.Would definitely recommend to anyone no matter how high their standards.

Great experience with Optical Express White Rose dealt with Kerry who was amazing throughout the process, felt very comfortable & provided me with all knowledge I required. was a great experience and highly recommend them for a consultation if looking into Lasek/Lasik.

Came to the white rose today to see if any shops could fix my glasses, i went a different opticians first to find they could not fix them and recommended to pick a new frame, after this i thought i would give another opticians a try before resorting to a new frame.I was met by a well spoken gentleman called gurprett if i remember correctly. He looked over my glasses and said he will try his best as i explained i really wanted to keep these current frames and within 5 minutes they were fixed, cleaned (without asking) and re sized to my head shape,they didnt charge a penny!!!i was adamant to pay due to the amazing service he provided but they did not charge.If i had gone with the first opticians i would have been forced to buy a NEW frame but the ingenuity of this gentleman reflects the company and practice itself, thank you optical express white rose i will be bringing my business here in the future!
