Way to expensive and not worth it at all

I have been parking here for 8 years. Not only have the charges increased every year but they have now changed the parking to 4hours max and for some it would cost as much as £5.30 per hour. That makes me sad. I work in the area and I have been using the parking on a daily basis for more than 84 months now. I have spent an average of £3000 per year on that parking for the last 7 years, and although I had no issues with that, I do have some now. And indeed - I can’t use it anymore. My shifts are 8 hours, the parking is 4 max. I don’t get paid as well as to pay £5.30 per hour (£21.20 for 4 hours) and keep my car there. I phoned the council to see if there is anything that could be done for people like me who have spent £20,000 on this parking for 7 years and I was answered with a: “There isn’t anything we could do for you” - Thank you Hackney Council! You’ve lost such a massive payer and you will keep loosing more users as the businesses in that area will also not find it affordable for their employees to park there, and for their customers too. Unbelievable! (And yes, my car is ULEZ compliant and my emissions are absolutely minimal!)
