Visited Friday 14th July with our granddaughter who is 30 months. Excellent, friendly service. The assistant engaged with her, made the fitting easy , simple and painless. Also no pressure to sell a pair as granddaughter was not quite ready for a new pair.we did buy a pair. We always take her for her shoesx

This is the best shoe shop in Southampton. My parents took me here as a child, and now I take my children here for their shoes.Excellent customer service, the staff are so knowledgeable and really take the time to make sure your child gets the perfect fit for their feet. Also I love the new appointments system, so no time waiting to be seen.

Needed two new pairs of school shoes and, after long queues last year, made an appointment this time. No wait to be seen although there were a few other people who had to wait. Staff member was extremely helpful, good with the kids and engaged with them as well as us. They only stock quality shoes and make sure they fit properly. Will be coming back next year.

Great service from knowledgeable staff, great selection of quality shoes for everyone. It's one of the few specialist shoe shops and they had a good selection of wide fitting shoes for me. It's a no rush service which is good to have these days it makes shopping for shoes a pleasure not a chore.

Five star traditional service... I had my shoes re-soled middle of last year, I don't wear that particular pair all that often and the repair needed some attention.When I popped in just now, Roy the manager was at the front desk and straight away he insisted they re-do the work at no charge.It was only a minor thing that needed adjusting but I could tell that it was a matter of principle that he wanted to make sure it was put right immediately.It's rare to find shops who clearly care about the service they deliver and how they look after their customers. Thank you.

Thankyou SO much. Our fitter was incredible. Very understanding of our daughter's needs (autistic) and coming in the back and having a quiet spot really helped. The lady was so attentive to my children and, unlike our experience elsewhere recently, we had several shoes to choose from and she ensured a proper fit. We came from Poole but will be back! I came to French's as a small child and am so glad my mum recommended I bring my girls here. The whole experience was brilliant start to finish ⭐⭐⭐.

I called ahead to check on a quiet time and took my children (one has autism) for school shoe fitting. We were taken to a quiet area and the staff helping us was patient and very good with fitting my children's shoes. Three very happy children's feet and one very calming experience. Excellent service, thank you.
