I bought an imported Nissan elgrand from parklane motors last week. I visited to inspect the car and the only thing to note was damage to a leather arm rest. We agreed everything was in order and left a deposit to return once all the paper work had been returned and signed ( jubilee weekend ) once it had I drove back and we finalised and to my surprise they had even had a brand new arm rest imported since it was a bit damaged - outstanding service - I drove away with my day insurance to get me home and I’m now a proud owner of a parklane motor vehicle - I dealt with the owner I assume and I have to say he is a very welcoming, friendly and honest chap that really goes out of his way to make sure you are happy and taken care of . The other cars in the lot looked great and I couldn’t recommend him enough - Thankyou for the experience ! Stay safe

Bought a Toyota Yaris a few months ago. Posting this review now as wanted to make sure car would last. Car drives fine with zero problems and we have had no issues. The owner was a real gentlemen to deal with and I will definitely be back if we need another car.The price was cheapest on the market at the time.

Everything has been dealt with in a professional and friendly way. I live in Inverness and bought via the telephone. Arranged a mutually suitable delivery location, the car was delivered by a very friendly gentleman on time and in first class condition. I could not be happier with the service and communication.

Purchased a 2016 Toyota Auris from this dealer in January 2022. Car was sold as excellent condition inside and out". Was a remote sale due to distance and when car was delivered there were a number of cosmetic issues (e.g. Chip to windscreen) that seller had not disclosed.I then took car to a mechanic who found a number of faults (some quite serious e.g. Damaged rear brake calliper and issue with handbrake among others) and told me car should not have been sold in current condition. Was quoted £600+ for repairs.I immediately contacted seller and asked either for repairs to be covered or for car to be returned. Seller was rude

My husband and I were interested in a BMW 120d M. We're from Glasgow so not exactly close to the dealership but the dealer was amazing in the sense that he phoned me and did a live video so that I could see the car beforehand and listen to it and we were confident to book a delivery. Car was delivered to Glasgow all the way from Keighley, we were able to test drive it to make sure we were happy and the whole process was super smooth! Bought one day, delivered the next in a mint condition. We highly recommend Park Lane Motors and would use again.

Very good fast service. Let me take my time looking round the car and I was driving away with the car within the hour.Edited*Now had the car 9 months and just put it through its MOT. Went straight through with no issues at all. Nice to know I have bought a good quality car for my disabled son.Edited again*2 years on and has flown through its MOT again. Only thing I’ve done is changed a tyre.

Most honest and reliable service from Portland motor I do recommend this dealer who is the best with competitive prices I bought a number of cars from this dealer never had any issue just recently I bought Mercedes GLE and and it's fantastic thank you very much parklane Motors

Called to enquire about a car and asked if there was any damage/ scratches as we were travelling a long distance to view the car. We were told the car was in perfect condition but was actually in a poor condition when we arrived, especially the alloys which were battered. Told them we didn't want the car and the man got very rude saying we were wasting his time and he even got a new MOT for the car even though we never said we were buying, only viewing the car. He then refused to refund the £100 reservation fee as we 'wasted his time'. They only refunded when I told them I would report them to Autotrader for this. This is a small garage and the staff look unreliable and dodgy. I personally wouldn't count on them keeping their promise about any warranty they provide. I would avoid this garage.

Not sure where to begin really, but I’ve had nothing but trouble with my car from the second I picked it up on the 25th September. And now the dealership have ruled out a refund or any reimbursement for the wasted time and trouble caused, despite sending them invoices across for the work, it shows they really go the extra mile when you are the ones chasing them for an answerI was suspicious on the day of collection, as when I lifted up the bonnet and started the engine there was a squeaking sort of noise, I also noticed the expansion tank was stained pink therefore you could not see the level of coolant in the car, me being me I never mentioned this at the time, but little did I know what was to come…I get the car back okay driving it from Kieghly to Nottingham, while driving the veichle on the motorway, I did notice it was kind of judderey, but thought nothing of this as the tyre pressure light was illuminatedThe next day I hop into my car and notice the coolant light is illuminated; I filled it up and thought nothing of itThe next day I was driving locally and the same thing happens again! At this point I was hoping it was just air trapped in the engine, in the first week of owning the car it cost me more to fill it with coolant than to fill it with diesel!By the 9th of October the cars leak has dramatically got worse, at the time needing to be filled twice even 3 times a day, so I approach warranty wise and make them aware, I also approach Halford's Nuthall Road Nottingham, for a diagnosticOn the 13th of October the car has had a diagnostic done, Halford's diagnosed the issue as the expansion tank saying there was a crack in it, warranty wise refuse to cover for this, no work has been carried out as of yetOn the 25th of October the car has been booked in with Halford's long Eaton through the Nottingham branch, to have the new expansion tank fitted, they carried out the work and replaced the expansion tank as promised; on the same day it was apparent that this did not resolve the issueThe 26th of October contact Halford on Nuthall Road informing them that there diagnostic was incorrect, and to re book me in31st October: I pass my car back to Halford's long Eaton, for them to do another diagnostic, they refer me to a garage called S Line automotive in Loughborough, they claim to be VW specialists, as Halford's are unable to diagnose my car2nd November: I pass my car over to S Line, and make warranty wise aware yet again, S Line diagnose the issue as Water leaking from the water housing across the front of the engine" at this point no work had been carried out
