Charlton Court

Went on mother's day to visit my mother sent to wrong room. To be told your mother dead.and they walked away from me.

My mam was admitted into Charlton court for palliative care in November 2022, I can honestly say the care, respect and support from all the staff was truly amazing. Adele has a whole team of kind professionals who go above and beyond. This was a extremely hard and emotional time for us all as a family, however we we felt that Charlton court was the best place for our mam. Adele leads by example which is refreshing to see. It’s a lovely place for loved ones. Which I’d highly recommend.Thank you for looking after our beautiful mam (Annette Mood) until the end.

My mother went into Charton Court a little over 6 weeks ago. Neither her or my family knew how it would all pan out. The reason why we picked Charlton Court (and we visited a few!!!) was because of the feel we got -not only the home itself ,but mostly about the staff.We were right-my mother was/is a proud women who I always said I would never put in a 'Home',circumstances meant this was the path we had to take. My mother within days loved it and the love she has for the staff grows each day. This is because(in her own words) she feels safe, she trusts the staff and feels they treat her at the same time with respect. They have become her extended family....guess theres not much more one can say....at the age of nearly 92-hearing her say this and watching her smile and laugh with them....assures us shes in the Best place.
