I was always served promptly at this branch, and today in particular I was pleasantly surprised by an adviser whom I've asked how can I request a new card reader(as my previous one got lost). He was back to me in no time with a new card reader. I was surprised ,because last time I requested one, it took a long time to get it through the post . This card reader was very important for me today, as I needed it in order to reinstall my barclays mobile"--which needed to be done today. So thank you very much! :)"

The worst bank ive been to customer service 0 out of 10 none of the staff are able to help with making a simple bank transfer have to wait an hour to see someone because only one member of staff able to help with that no order to the que waiting inside.

What a joke of a so called bank. If traditional banking hours weren’t bad enough, there is now no counter service after 4 or on weekends. Really not helpful for anyone who works. You walk in and all of the staff ignore the queue of people trying to figure out how to get any help. There are plenty of staff. They just aren’t interested in helping any customers. I’m not exactly sure what they are doing. There is no way to get any coins from the machines inside the bank. There is really no point in going there anymore because there is no service provided beyond what I can get with any cash machine. I visited on a Friday at 16:10 and a woman who worked there told me that I would need to come back on Saturday to get change. I came back today and was told that they also don’t have counter service on Saturdays. The staff don’t even know what the hours are because they don’t make any sense. My recommendation is that you can cut costs even further by getting rid of the staff because they don’t seem to provide any service anyway and close the branch since all you provide are cash machines. I will be taking my account somewhere else that actually accommodates working people’s schedules.

Very efficient place I created all my accounts without any hassle. The Staff officer Ashleigh gave me a five star ⭐ service will definitely do all my banking with Barclays.

Been a Barclays customer for over 30 years but I must say the service is rapidly going down hill, especially the Aberdeen branch. Went in today to transfer money from one of my accounts to another, which was over the machines capacity so needed to wait for counter staff to deal with transaction. Was horrified when I was told it would be at least 30mins to be seen! Where were the staff? Why can't you transaction transfers between own accounts? Pull up your socks Barclays, and before you ask....NO I won't do online banking.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have had so far in a bank.Next to the senior manager being gone for the day, a lady and her child being clearly disturbed, and the computers/iPads being so slow they were basically useless, the customer service agents were not helpful whatsoever. In fact, I was not able to finish my application for a bank account but was asked to leave the branch, as they were closing down.Additionally, I had to fill out their online report TWICE because the website kept breaking and let my session time out, leading me to not finishing my query. I will move my business to other banks.At least their branch location was clean.

Awful service.The waiting time in this place is unbelievable. Worst thing is that you will see members of staff walking casually (sometimes carrying a bottle of coca cola), when you (along with several other customers) are waiting to be served. Sometimes they just disappear behind the security protected door leaving all the frustrated customers without a clue.

After the disappointment of your call centre staff I went in store and the guy that dealt with me was such great help. All your staff were polite and helpful from the moment I walked into the store. I'm very pleased with the customer care that I received.

How banks like this are still going is beyond me. Need a service which isn't available on line, call them to be told I have to visit a branch for counter service. I work M-F and counter service is not available on Saturdays. Closest branch is an 80 mile round trip so I need to book a morning off work and pay for fuel and parking. For contrast, the exact same service with Monzo, raise a request from the app, done the next day. It's 2023 not 1923 ffs.
