Not the cleanest Premier Inn I've visited... Staff were not very accommodating.Although accessible rooms are provided, the corridors are narrow and hard to navigate in wheelchairs. There are no buttons for wheelchair users to open doors

This is in a great location opposite the shopping centre and all the tourist spots. Plenty of places to eat.The rooms are very spacious and clean, and very quiet.I only gave service 4 stars as we got there 10 minutes early and they literally would not let us check in until 3pm and on the day we were leaving checkout was 12pm, but about 10.45 a cleaner knocked on the door and basically told us we had to leave because he had to clean room! Very rude.Complained to reception who were very apologetic

I stayed here few weeks ago for 2 nights for work purposes. Lovely hotel nice and clean. There was a lovely young man at reception at night who was really helpful and lovely. Amazing customer service. I think he said his name was Aj.Breakfast was spot on again lovely customer service.

Great location and fab hotel. Our rooms were clean and comfortable - hardly any noise. A stone's throw from the shops yet the canal is just behind it. Excellent location.

Not recommended for families, even if you book the family room. 1) The rooms are much smaller than stated on the internet and Facebook. 2) There is NO way to get fresh air into the room! The window cannot be opened at all and the air conditioner is a closed system in the room. (The floor also smells so an open door cannot be fully utilized). But I can understand that 2 people in the same room (instead of 4) are satisfied.

Great location. Shame there's no option to drop off luggage as there's no parking and the nearest is 5-7 minutes walk. The staff are too eager to clear the breakfast, 10 minutes before the closing time. The chef is excellent, polite and friendly.

We’ve stayed here as a group for work overnight. And honestly there’s not much positive I can say about this hotel. There’s a certain expectation of standard when it comes to Premier Inn hotels and this hotel definitely doesn’t live up to that. The room was not clean. There was an empty wrap packet under the bed, streaks on the mirrors, mystery white drips on the bathroom door and dust everywhere. Both times when I’ve walked past the reception there were no staff to flag this to and considering we were out for most of the evening and only staying there for the night, I’ve not had a chance to speak to anyone about it as when checking out there was no one there either.Walls are paper thin - could hear the room next to me switching their lights off and on, as well as slamming of the doors.Breakfast was a bit bare. Scrambled egg was dry (almost crusty at the top) from sitting there, empty containers for orange juice and toaster which broke before I even got to use it.

Nice clean rooms in the middle of the city. Unfortunately the system for the cards to unlock the rooms fails. You can only use the card for 24 hours and than you have to get back to the reception. It felt if i had to ask for permission every day to enter my room. What is de purpose of those cards than?

The hotel is very well located and the facilities are great. However, I did not expect items to be taken from my luggage being held in an apparently secure storage room.Me & my partner stayed one night in the hotel. We arrived early and dropped our cases off to be put in the luggage room. We came back a little later in the afternoon with some shopping to be put in storage with our bags. At this point, I took my aftershave out of my bag, had a spray, and put it back in my bag. I also checked my new T-shirt but decided it was too thick to change into and put it back with shopping. My shopping was then put back in the storage room along with my bag.Later on that evening, we collected our bags and headed to the room. In the morning, I thought I would wear my new T-shirt, only to discover it was gone. I then got changed and went to spray on my £100 bottle of aftershave, which was also no longer in my bag. There is no possibility these items had gone anywhere else as I had both items before the bags went into storage and the bags didn't go anywhere else except the room.I complained to the management in the morning and a very helpful gentleman called Danny said he would look into it for me. We then came back later on in the day and a very unhelpful gentleman called Dan insinuated we had lied. He even then went on to insinuate staff could steal from rooms if they wanted as there is no CCTV in the room either. I feel we were treated as liars and brushed aside. There is no CCTV in the luggage room, which absolutely baffled me and still does. Only staff have access to his room, however, any staff could enter the room and take any small items they wish out of people's bags.I have since been in contact with Premier Inn directly and have requested the CCTV of myself in the lobby showing I had the aftershave and T-shirt before it went into the storage. My advice to anyone staying here is - Please make sure any valuables are not kept in your bags as the hotel's secure luggage room" is clearly not secure!!!"

Only 3 stars due to the ridiculous check in system. You can't check in, even 10 minutes early, unless you pay £10. Sat waiting for 30 mins to check in because they can't check you in early unless you pay. This leads to a huge queue at 3pm as everyone is trying to check in at the same time. Good access to the park and ride and close to everything in the city centre.
