Dragon Stoves & Fireplaces

We had thought long and hard about a multifuel stove we walked into Dragon stoves and fireplaces not knowing much about them , we are genuinely glad we did. Martin ( the owner ) was helpful, but not pushy , proffesional and certainly knows his stuff he kindly guided us in the right direction and he has oodles of patience which is appreciated. Dennis and Jack came to do the fit they checked we were OK with everything they were doing including how we would like the beam to be styled, very friendly and courteous. Overall a excellent experience i would have no hesitation in recommending Dragon to everyone .

Great workmanship from the start from everyone at dragon . Very easy process from start to finish . Martin was very thorough in discussing the best products for my house/chimney. Jack and his team fitted the fire and they have done a great job. They kept me informed throughout the whole process and were very clean and tidy. Really pleased with my new fireplace . Would definitely recommend to anyone, 5 star.

Fantastic service from start to finish, staff in the store are very knowledgable and helpful with no pressure sales. Wide choice of stoves and finishes. We were amazed at the short time from ordering to fitting was only three weeks.The fitters who came to install were very courteous and respectful and left the work area clean and tidy at the end of the day.Would highly recommend if you are thinking about a stove installation you talk to these guys first.

Initially I was told that the work would be over 2 days which was fine however 2 days turned into 4 weeks and if I had not constantly chased them then it would not have been finished, not happy with the service of the guys who came to fit the fire place or Martyn he came across as quite blunt, saying he would call me back but never did. However Carol was friendly. I was having my room plastered and asked for the oak beam fitting before this was done, Martyn insisted it be done after the plastering was completed, so I went along with this, big mistake, it looks horrible. I was then left with metal brackets in my newly plastered wall, they did not offer to cover them up either with filler or plaster, I had to get someone to do this for me. I was told that Martyn would contact me to show me how to use the newly fitted stove, he never did, I had to chase him and waited a further 4 weeks for him to come.All the above said, I'm happy with the quality of the fireplace, hence the 2 stars

My condemned Dragon stove installation. From combustible material above the closure plate, to inadequate / non-existent sealant and no data plate (a legal requirement) to a failure to plaster (finish the job), hearth tiles fitted with bathroom sealant and even a failure to get the stove central in the hearth, this has been the worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered. Even the carbon monoxide detector was fitted in a corner where it wouldn’t have picked up fumes. Everything about this installation was wrong.The OFTEC registration isn’t worth the paper it’s written on as all they can offer is ‘technical commentary’ so don’t think this will offer you any protection if you find yourself in the situation I did with a poorly installed stove. Dragon’s only offer was to send the same engineer to re-do the work he’d not been able to do in the first place. To anyone who’s had a stove installed by Dragon I would strongly recommend you pay to have it inspected by someone else.

Had our new log burner and marble fire surround fitted today and absolutely over the moon with them!! It looks fabulous! Martin has been so helpful, from helping us to choose our fire and correct surround, down to directing a very smooth installation with the fitters whom I must say were excellent, no mess, no fuss,and v ery polite.. Thankyou

Bought my log burner and had it fitted by dragon stoves and fireplaces and I’m absolutely over the moon with it. Looks stunning & is very stylish! Highly recommend them to anyone who is wanting one fitted, they went above and beyond with their service, thank you dragon stoves and fireplaces ☺️
