Beauly Priory
Lots of history about this place but nothing overly special. Mary, Queen of Scots visited as did Oliver Cromwell's army. 15th century tomb - well, it's certainly incredible to have survived the years but there's no more than a name on the plaque so with no historical context it's just another dead guy.Still, lovely setting in a Beautiful Place

Nice ruined building, easily accessible, easy to go around. However, it's not a place to look out for specifically. Only if it's on your way somewhere else.

Nice compact priory in good order offering a pleasant stroll when in the village and unlike so many free to visit. Though there appeared to be guided tours..

A beautiful, but small ruin, well worth a look. Shame about the parking situation (satnav takes you to wrong place, so just follow the main road until you see it!). No facilities, but public toulet right next to it.

Beautiful location, tidy, preservation of ruins and tombs, with simple explanatory texts. Free admission. 15-20 minute stay.

Nice, quiet, unassuming place to visit. Hidden away in Beauly. Well tended and maintained with very informative sign work around the priory. Well worth a visit and a great example of Scottish medieval architecture. Free entry

Beautiful walls! Very nice site, missing the roof, but still amazing how the walls look. Nice setting, historical interest. Glad we came.

Lovely little ruins worth a stroll if you're in town. There is also a sycamore with a 5.5 meter circumference truck out front in the cemetery.

It won't take long to walk around and see this interesting stone shell of Beauly Priory. Just near the High Street it's easy to find and once done you can enjoy the shops.
