Hayley was a joy to get to know and work with, with phenomenal talent and shining passion. She made us a stunning three-tier semi-naked wedding cake. We had three flavours (luscious lemon, white chocolate & raspberry and carrot cake), all of which were delicious and two were thoroughly enjoyed by all of our family and friends. We took the third tier on our mini-moon and it made it all the more special! Hayley also liaslised directly with our florist, making everything as easy and simple for us, which was greatly appreciated.We were lucky to have the opportunity to taste Hayley's samples twice before making our choices - at a venue taster day and through a postal sample box. The thought, care and detail that went into the taster boxes was unparalleled. Both contributed to the excitement of our wedding planning!Stand-out, without a shadow of a doubt, was Hayley herself. She is such a kind, caring soul, full of advice and tips, with a genuine care and passion for what she does, wanting to see happy couples have their version of a perfect wedding. We really appreciate the above-and-beyond approach throughout, from our first outreach to post-wedding. We cannot recommend Hayley highly enough for her talent and expertise. Hayley is honestly a cake wizard, she is so incredibly talented at baking the most delicious and beautiful cakes that all our guests were obsessed with! From the tasting box (delivered in mint condition via post as we live over 300 miles away), planning emails, to the final cake, cupcakes and macaroons we honestly could not have asked for more. Hayley was an absolute delight to work with and we really appreciated being able to rent the cake stand from her and her kind offers of doing any last minute tasks the morning of the wedding if we needed her. Highly recommend @dollybirdbakes to anyone needing delicious cakes in the Cornwall and Devon area!

The very talented Hayley has made several cakes for us over the last few years and each one has been amazing and absolutely delicious. Always recommend her when others ask for cakemakers in the area.

Hayley did such an amazing job with our wedding cake, it was so beautiful and super tasty. She also did us some vegan/super low gluten cupcakes for some of our guests. So many people commented on how delicious all of it was. Thank you so much Hayley! x

Hayley is incredible!! She was so helpful throughout the planning process and created the most incredible wedding cake for us. We had so many compliments, with many people saying it was the best they had ever tasted! The salted caramel macaroons were to die for. Dollybird Bakes made our wedding cake recently, and it went down a treat with our guests and us.Hayley was really helpful from start to finish, even sending samples all the way to us in Hampshire.The cake was absolutely beautiful and Hayley worked with our florist to add some flowers - we were blown away.We'd absolutely recommend Dollybird to anyone looking for a cake!

Hayley has been making cakes for myself/my children for the past 6 years. She never fails to make the most incredible cake. They are always stunning & always match the brief which really could be anything when asking a 5 year old what she would like on her cake. They are always a showstopper! They always taste equally as good & I'm yet to try a flavour I don't like. Couldn't fault anything! X

Hayley did our 2 tier semi naked cake for our wedding at Tredudwell Manor on Wednesday 17th May 2023. The wedding cake was absolutely DELICIOUS! All guests commented on how amazing it tasted and we was eating cake 4 days after our wedding but nothing was wasted as it tasted soooooo good. Highly recommend Hayley at Dollybird bakes.

We got our wedding cake from Dolly Bird cakes in March and absolutely loved it. Firstly and most importantly, Halyey's cakes are absolutely delicious! We tried a couple of samples and went for a classic chocolate cake on the bottom layer and lemon drizzle on top. The cake was an absolute hit on the evening and we very much enjoyed the scant leftovers the next day (our guests loved it too!) Aside from amazing cakes Hayley is a lovely person and so easy to work with. She always got back to us quickly via email and worked really well with our florist and caterers which took the pressure off us on the day. I would highly recommend Hayley for wedding or any other cakes, she was an absolute star. I will have to find an excuse to order another cake soon!
