Ullswater Outdoor Adventures

Wow!!We went kayaking and cliff jumping with Stu in half term on Ullswater. The four of us had an amazing time with Stu who made us feel at ease in the Kayaks.The scenery was stunning, the weather was perfect and Stu had us in stiches!!The cliff jumping was awesome to finish.Lou organised everything beforehand and we had a bonus activity playing with their dog Willow.Would highly recommend this company, super organised and very friendly.

went for a kayak and cliff jump on Ullswater, very easy to book was really good friendly communication, lovely people. great kayak to go out on the lake with, did a really big tour of the lake with loads of local knowledge. if you are visiting Ullswater this is the best way to see it 100%

A group of us spent the day with Lou, Stu & Willow yesterday doing Ghyll Scrambling and Kayaking. We all had great fun and felt we were in safe (& expert) hands throughout both activities. Definitely recommend and would love to book some more activities through them in the future!

We went ghyll scrambling with Stu and Lou over the May bank holiday weekend. We are a family of five (kids between 9 and 15) and everyone had a great time. The stream was beautiful with fun challenges but is also suitable for somewhat more cautious children or people new to scrambling. We met at an informal car park, Lou and Stu had brought a changing tent and the necessary gear. All equipment was in prime condition. There was an easy walk uphill to get to the entry point into the stream and then it was scrambling down all the way! Stu was our guide in the water, Lou followed along above the ghyll with Willow the dog. Lou and Stu are very professional, but they also bring a personal, familiar feel to the activity which sets them apart from other companies that we’ve done outdoor adventure activities with. They both took pictures throughout the activity and shared them with us after (quite different to the ‘Buy one group photo for £10’ that you sometimes get). Overall great experience, can highly recommend!

Fantastic experience with Lou, Stu and Willow the dog! We brought a youth group to have a go at canoeing and cliff jumping and it was amazing! We played lots of water games whilst in the canoes and everyone jumped in from the cliff. Stu was brilliant with the group and was very patient and explained everything to them. Highly recommend for a fantastic day out on the water!

Always a great adventure with these guys.We were on the lake again with these guys yesterday. Even the rain didn't dampen the experience and we splashed around for the whole day. Stu took us out in canoes in the morning (with dogs too). Then the afternoon was paddleboards and cliff-jumping (for the brave!). Stu was great at helping us gain confidence on the board, and the fact it was a private group really helped too.

Canoed down a stretch of the Eden with guide Stu. Amazing experience — whole trip was coordinated seamlessly by Lou beforehand. Equipment was extremely well-maintained and Stu was both highly professional and really personable and friendly. 10/10. Amazing local family company — would highly recommend!!

Super friendly team- we had a wonderful experience. Went above and beyond to make it fun and include everyone. Informal in all the best ways, but still kept us safe. Definitely recommend!
