This rescue goes above and beyond for the greyhounds and other dogs in its care.They have lots of knowledge and match you up with the right hound.Always at the end of a phone if needed.They love and care for each and everyone one.

Support and professional advice from the start which continues throughout. I’ve had 3 dogs from NGR and am a dedicated fundraising volunteer for them because I have seen first hand the amazing work they do.

We have fostered dogs with Northern Greyhound rescue and I would thoroughly recommend adopting or fostering from this charity. The support we got from here has been second to none, the beautiful hounds are really well cared for and are certainly at the heart of everything do.Both times the dogs have moved on- I have been 100% convince they have gone to the perfect home ❤️I will definitely be fostering in the future

Although we've been adopting ex racers for 22 years, this is the first time that we have dealt with NGR as our 'usual' rescue had moved hundreds of miles away. Amanda brought Troy (previously Conor) to meet us along with a whole host of equipment, food treats etc. He's fitted in amazingly well as I also do home boarding for sighthounds, so he's had to cope with different dogs coming to stay over the time that he has been with us. Amanda's profile of Troy was spot on enabling me to feel confident in offering him a forever home. If you can offer one of these wonderful dogs a home and give them the time and patience that they need, then you can feel confident that you will get all the help you need from Amanda and NGR.

What a magnificent rescue, run by lovely dedicated people, nothing is to much trouble they're always available to help in anyway they can, they match dogs with you perfectly, definitely recommend them if your planning to foster or adopt a greyhound

This is a fantastic rescue, Amanda is so dedicated to all of the hounds and genuinely cares so much. She has been so supportive during our adoption journey and has paired us with the most perfect amazing hound who is everything we could have wished for. We spent time with Skye’s foster mum, Julie, on the day we went to meet her, and she was so welcoming and lovely. This is a rescue who really know what they are doing, and really put their everything into getting it right first time round.
