Normanton Road Sub Post Office

The man and the women the pair are so rude, sighs and rude manner I ever seen in a post office, might be the owners but they never give a good welcome, rude way of talking wish had the option to give them a few slaps I would constantly do so.Went to deposit money as was closer than the bank , lady got out of her chair when I said I want to deposit and sighed like I did something wrong to her then shouts card in the machine , felt so angry swear down.. close this or change the staff disgusting people

So online says they close at 12 on a sat arrive at the post office for 11 39 and it's closed. I ring and a female answers very rudely saying were closed. They close whenever they feel like it I've been so many times on a sat just before 12 midday and they've been open. They really need to recruite better staff and sort out there timing and stick to it.

I've been using this Post Office for many years now. There are so many issues here, where does one start. The couple in there are the owners of this branch and they want to sell and retire, and they look very fed up.Firstly, they constantly close early, well before the 5pm closing time. This has happened numerous times and the earliest I've experienced is when I got there and it was 4.47pm. The door was already locked. I looked through the window and there were no customers inside. I knocked on the door and the man came and opened it and I said it's well before 5pm and told him I just wanted to send a small parcel to be delivered. He eventually let me in. After I was in, only a minute later there was another man behind me and I think he just needed a stamp from what I could hear, but he wouldn't let him in and just kept saying we're closed. It was only 4.50pm then.Secondly, they often over charge for the letters / parcels. I've experienced this so many times. I now check online for the Royal Mail prices and I know what to expect as a charge, but they often over charge and get away with it. Sometimes I ask should it not be the lesser price and they always have some other reason, which I don't understand.Thirdly, the customer service at times is very bad. I've seen them be rude to customers and be very abrupt.The Post Office is an important service for the public, but we should not be treated in the way I have described above.

Someone do the community a favour and buy this post office from the couple who are extremely unhappy and rude everyday to their customers. They’ve obviously worked long enough and need to enjoy life a little. It’s unfair for them to project their sadness on us customers. Went in after years to drop off some parcels and they were clearly unhappy. Will only go back when the couple have sold and left.

This post office is a disgrace! Change the staff ASAP! They have a man who is rude and does not know how to do his job and it looks like he does not have good hygiene or takes care of himself and then they have an OAP lady who has hearing problems and gets annoyed if you ask for help - I shall make an official complaint to Royal Mail and speak to there supervisors to remove them from there positions and replace them with someone younger, smarter and more pleasing to the eye.

Very weird place with very weird staff who treat customers as an after thought for laughs. They take us for mugs and have a laugh on our behalf. They shut early and open late and do what they please. The man also lies about not having the parcel when it was there all along. My advice is do not go near this place unless you want to be treated with contempt

Ordered $s to be collected after 11am wexarived at 12 to pick up shutters down... supposed to be open till 5pm... no way to run a post office... we had to travel to the next place available.. utter waste of time.. they had my phone number so they could of messaged me at any point to tell me they were closing early..

Closes before it’s meant to close . Staff is disgusting . Short lady and Asian man both need sacking asap , absolutely appalling service

I was there this afternoon.The staff is so rude on the way they talk to people. The man is worse than the lady. People dealing with customers need to be patient and respectful. You are working in the wrong place if you have no patience and don’t know how to talk to people.

Close when I arrive at 4.42pm today, very shocks! Not happy!
