I booked a clay day for my boyfriend's birthday. I haven't received a booking confirmation or any further information. I have tried sending an email through the website, sending a message on instagram and phoning (it just goes through to voicemail). It's now a week before his birthday, and I still don't have confirmation and now need to get him an alternative present at the last minute. Feel like I have been scammed at this point. Really terrible customer service.

We paid £65 for a clay day. We tried contacting for more info about refreshments and logistics and didn’t get a reply from emails and calls.I’m not sure that the tutor enjoys her job as she’s not overly helpful or approachable. It would have been nice to get hints and tips and ideas of pieces we could make but we were very much left to fend for ourselves which begs the question what was the £65 paying for since we paid for the clay on top!It wasn’t a cheap day and we were told we could make our own coffee but there wasn’t milk - not even a biscuit? A bit stingy considering the price. I wish I had read these reviews before I booked as I’m now worried that we will struggle to get our pieces after the 6 week (!!!) wait time - we were told to ring and chase her but we know that didn’t do much previously. She made a deal about ‘groups that don’t clear up’ clearly to get us to do all the tidying up - again just all a little bit prickly rather than a nice comfortable experience. I wouldn’t return to this venue but would try working with clay again elsewhere.

My niece and myself went to the Taster Class and have now collected our pieces. We had a great time and although our pottery won’t win any prizes, it was a fun afternoon.

Received as a gift. The experience on the day was good but trying to get hold of anyone just seems impossible. It’s approaching 7 weeks and email sent but heard nothing about collecting the pieces I made and paid extra for. The group was told we’d receive an email at the start of Nov. It’s impossible to reach by phone or email. For the price of the course it does feel unfair that communication is not great. But he phone is always off and emails don’t seem to get responded to.

I was bought the taster session as a present and had a great time. It was a relaxed environment and Jo was on hand to help with any queries. We collected our makes a few weeks after the class and was well worth the wait. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it to anyone. I’m definitely planning on going again too.

Agree with everyone else about the lack of approachability and extremely poor communication from these people. The classes are not cheap, people work hard to earn their living! To take their money but never respond or communicate is poor. If my session was not a gift voucher, at this point I’d be asking for a refund because of the lack of respect to respond. Either switch your phone on and start taking calls or check your emails. It can’t be that “we never received your email” from everyone who complains about your lack of communication. It’s disappointing and disheartening for those of us who have upcoming sessions booked in. Even after such ooor reviews on Google there is no attempt on your part to improve ☹️Ruined the excitement I had to attend a session and turned it into anxiety.

We're really pleased with the pots we made at your open day in April and which you kindly glazed for us. Thanks so much. It was a great experience and a lovely venue.

The taster session for 2 was a present to me. I have to agree with earlier reviews that communication was not good: minimal greeting on arrival, similar minimal instruction on what to make and the processes to get there, plus the tutor made herself a cup of tea mid session and proceeded to drink it! Yes, 6/8 weeks before we can pick up finished pieces. A shame, as other sessions are available and it did not inspire you to book more.

Lack of communication and customer service terrible.Myself and my daughter went to a pottery class April 17th 2022 and had a good day,we both made 2 - 3 items each which we paid for (use of clay) and was informed it would take 4-6 weeks until ready for collection,it is now June 13th and we have heard nothing despite me sending emails and leaving messages on the phone.Nobody has returned calls/messages.Shame as this has ruined our experience and we wouldn’t recommend now to others.
