Driver arrived a little earlier than booked, which was fine. Comfortable car, excellent driving, driver ensured we were warm enough/ not too warm and was polite, courteous and chatty throughout.This driver is a true asset to the company

Extremely hostile driver. Shouting at me, close pass and honking repeatedly while representing this company with a large sticker on the side of the vehicle. All caused because I didn’t use the cycle lane that goes left when I want to turn right. If you are in the vehicle or not, steer well clear.

Very efficient and friendly service. You probably don't need an Uber in Cardiff as long as you have Dragon's number. Automated and contact options available for bookings.

I booked and paid through the app but was charged more on my card than the amount in the booking confirmation email, on the app and on the driver's display. I called Dragon and was told to fill in their online feedback form and now have to wait up to 10 days for them to deal with it.UPDATE: the amount charged to my card changed to the correct amount after a few days. Upped my rating from the original 1 star to 3 stars.

I use Dragon taxis regularly. While not the cheapest, they are mostly reliable. The sheer number of cars means there's normally one close by so I rarely book in advance (except for busy times). The info available from the app gives you confidence in your booking.The drivers are the usual mixed bunch but generally very good and friendly.I do hear base stories (as with all taxi companies) but my experience has been very good.

Awful, stressful experience - never again.3 days earlier I'd pre- booked a taxi with Dragon Taxis for 8 am. I stressed it was for an important and urgent medical appointment. I was told it would be on time.On the day of the appointment, I called Dragon 40 minutes before pick- up time to confirm; I was once again re- assured and told that the taxi would actually be sent 5 minutes early to reassure me.However, not only did it fail to arrive but, when I phoned, I was told it hadn't even been allocated. Nor could they tell me when it would be lt alone arrive. The dispatcher was very disinterested.Quickly, I called Vale Taxis and the lovely, empathic dispatcher sent a taxi immediately. They also picked me up to return me home within 5 minutes of my call. The drivers were both local and lovely as by this time I was fairly rattled.If I thought it would make a difference, I'd make a complaint to Dragon. But the silver lining is I've now found a local, reliable company and will never use Dragon again.

Had a brilliant experience with this company… left/lost my wallet in the cab after a night out in cardiff and did expect to get it back back. To my surprise a couple of days later Dragon taxi posted it back to me recorded delivery. Totally worth a 5 star review… please thank the driver for his honesty. Will definitely use this company again.

I took dragon taxi within Newport city and I was overcharged from my debit card. I called the operator number and the operator gave me a dragon website address to go log a complaint for refund. I did as he advised but nothing has been done after filling the form online for over 2 weeks now no response and no refund has been made. Terrible customer service. And this is the second time have been overcharged from my debit card by dragon. They only take your call for booking but will never answer your complaint on phone. Very poor service experience.

The most stressful drive to work i’ve ever had.i phoned for a 45 minutes before i had to be at work, i was told it would be 15 minutes before my taxi would arrive. it took 25 minutes i was already stressed that i was going to be late and told my driver this as i got into his car. i only had card so had to pay via a link which was sent to my boyfriends phone.While i was clearly stressed making phone calls to sort the payment out my driver (driving 2mph) told me i get two more minutes up the road before i’ll have to get out. I had to explain to this guy at least 10 times that i was sorting it. no understanding at all just wanted his money right now which i understand as he might be weary people might’ve not paid before but considering i had to tell him 10 times and he could hear me on the phone sorting it out i can’t understand the problem i was 2 minutes away from my destination when the payment went through and when the payment went through he wanted to speed it up. pointless now mate i’m already late no thanks to you. then as i went to get out he told me to stop so he could make sure it definitely went through. remind me next time just to get an uber so much easier and customer service is way better
