Gem Carpets

Staff were helpful but presently they can't deliver into your home or take carpets or beds away so difficult if you are elderly or don't have space to store old bed !

First time using Gem, usually go for the bigger names, but very pleased I stopped by. It's bigger than it looks from the outside, good selection, and I must say it's nice to be allowed to look around, without being followed and constantly harassed like I was in the big chain stores.I had good service from the gentlemen in the shop, and the two fitters that came out did a good job.Overall very pleased, and would be happy to recommend to anyone.

I have used Gems in the past and received excellent service. Today I was unable to finalise my choice of floor covering due to sample vinyls not being given to try at home , this is due to previous customers not returning them. Sadly I left the shop empty handed and unable to make a purchase. Bizarre policy. Fortunately, I was able to find what I was looking for somewhere else and they were delighted to provide me with samples

I was really not happy with the service they provided when we had some vinyl fitted. When we purchased it in the shop we was told that they will remove and dispose the old vinyl. They charged us £150 for 3 toilets and left the old stuff. Please if you were to use this company, make sure the fitters are respectful towards your home because not once did they ask us if they'd like them to remove their shoes or not. They kept going in an out and especially with the weather at that time, it was raining so you could imagine the state of our carpets. Never going to use them again. If you could avoid this place, please do so.

Fabulous!! After reading these comments (after we’d ordered!), I was a bit worried about ‘fitting day’, but the fitters (Dave and Cherie) turned up, early, were lovely - as I wasn’t quite ready, friendly, did a great job, quick! We found ordering the carpet in the shop also, easy, the guy helpful enough and not pushy in any way. I’d use them again.

Bought carpets no problem , As for fitting , left the place in a right state including there rubbish ! cans,bags etc And would not take there rubbish with them . Not happy , wont use again !Also tried to over charge for fitting !And threatened to walk of with the money !

Very helpful and polite managers in store. Prices very competitive and to finish everythingoff the carpet fitter and is lovely daughter from Tamworth did a brilliant job.Thank you from my wife and I to all concerned.
