Good items hubby loves popping in to this shop every time we go to town

This shop is wonderful. I have donated and purchased from here on many an occasion. They get in the best furniture, both old and new, and some really great original and collectable pieces. I also like the haberdashery section at the back and have found lovely vintage lace collars mixed in there before. The prices are fair and everything is always displayed nicely. My only criticism would be that items put on hold for customers are left out on shop floor. This has led to me being disappointed more than once, thinking I'd made a great find, then realising there is a hidden label on the back saying it is reserved for someone else. As the saying goes, 'you snooze you lose,' so I try to visit at least once a week. Stock is replenished as it sells - as one wonderful piece goes to a new home, another is put out. I frequently leave with my pockets a little lighter.

Friendly staff - good bargains

Very friendly staff. Offer varies on donations and turnover of products, but usually a very good place to get cheap second hand stuff for the house, usually with very decent quality, not rubbish.

This shop is the best CHARITY shop for miles. I came down from London to get stuff with two friends and they loved it too. Well worth a visit.

Good opening hours but many items prohibitively expensive, volunteers pleasant but manager woman incredibly rude and unhelpful. I saw someone pay for an item, then immediately notice a problem with it. change their mind, and manager would not hand them their money back. Shocking behaviour.

Picked up a couple weeks of bits . Helpful staff shop well stocked and organised

Friendly volunteers, good quality second-hand furniture, DVDs, CDs, and books.

Lovely staff and lots to buy.
