I've worked for 4 different companies through amazon and by far Deva where the best. Got let go because I was spitting blood which I understand but was very well run in my opinion.

Deva Belfast/CarrickfergusFolks BEWARE !!! This company are an absolute con ! Lies and bull**** from day one. Your told at interview you get 11 days training it's lies !!! Your expected to be delivering 160 -200 parcels within a few days. They start you on 6:30am starts them they move you to mid morning starts without consulting you first you will be delivering parcels upto 9pm at night if your delivery is as far as 75 miles away from Belfast your getting back at crazy times. They don't tell you that you must sign up to an accountancy firm to get paid they take 15 quid from your weekly wage just to get paid it's a rip off you must pay 780 quid a year to get paid !!!!They offer you a van @195 quid a week they don't tell you if you crash it or scratch it they take money from your wages but yet the van is fully insured !!!! More lies and bull**** wages they advertise all sorts of rates from 110 - 160 + per day I can tell you now you will be working 6 days a week 9-10 hours a day by the time you pay a van and your wages fees your left with virtually minimum wages for working upto 9pm at night weekend days & nights included. They mention a bonus scheme BEWARE AGAIN THE Bonus doesn't exist !!! More bull**** finally in Belfast do not be fooled by the friendly management they're all full of bull**** and have a few company drivers running around trying to look after your needs but it's all part of the setup. The Amazon app on your phone if your one of the very few lucky ones that it works on your phone good luck if not your in trouble !! Trying to reset a phone at nearly every stop costs you big amounts of time !!! company vehicles are all fitted with tracking devices which is fine for theft purposes but they watching your every move and driving techniques at every opportunity then ringing you and texting you giving you warnings All in all I've worked all my life and during these bad times of covid19 these hallions are exploitg people for slave labour and treating you like S****. IF YOU LET THEM !!!!!

Avoid this firm like the plague! Had interview with Ross the lead driver and briefly met Karl the manager and had the drug/alcohol test. Later after CRB came back told they were sorting a Van asap. Got told Van had arrived but then got text from Karl that due 2 a screw up by Amazon a e-mail address that they set up for your driver app was wrong so due 2 security procedure they would have 2 submit another DBS check taking more time! Deva use their own company I think Securitax to do all your tax/NI etc at £15 per wk I found out they had got my own e-mail address wrong wot a joke! Finally at short notice I went 2 pick a van up from Amazon in Leeds in the pouring Van Karl had already filled in the Vehicle check sheet but I looked round the Van because of the rain we both missed a small crack in the bottom of windscreen and a small dent in the back door that was added the next day. Before u take the Van u have 2 speak with the fleet dept and I mentioned the front tyres were bald they and Karl disputed this so the next day I took the Van 2 Kwik Fit on account and they put new tyres on! Bearing in mind u pay £195 Per wk for the Van average of £85-£100 for fuel and being paid around £114 per day is the job worth it? I found this firm timewasters and not honest hence on the day I was due 2 start I give them the Van keys back as they were going 2 send a driver out 2 follow me for the first 20 drops or so. I am aware of the Coronavirus but someone could have come with me wearing a mask and sitting by the window. They couldn't even sort out my ID in time meaning I had 2 wear a temp badge where I was supposed 2 have someone with me at all times.Overall a disaster!!!

Would NOT recomend this company to work for they leave you stranded 20 miles away from home to make own way and when told left item of clothing in there van same day as Tokyo back nearly 3 weeks later they still not returned or refund DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Went to an interview (it’s not really an interview) they just stated what they do and gave me some paper work and I walked out after reading the paper work in contrast to what was said.Basically they want you to sign off on van hire around £215 a week and sign off on that you have received the van with a full tank without you even seeing the van stating you will get it later.Legally speaking they could rake you over the coals for this I.e. charge you for the van without you getting the van, give you a van with no fuel, give you a clapped out van with no tires and put a claim against youplus signing off on some H&S training you have not done stating you will do it later.It’s a bit of a red flagget later on and that you would get £135 after tax and fuel so adding the tax back on and taking off van hire this works out to be a annual salary of £27,600This company has a lot of red flags as do you really think a delivery company would give you £27K for basic amazon delivery work?I only attended the interview so good luck I hope this isn’t a scam if your going for it

I can only speak for my own personal experience. I have only worked for deva for 3 weeks as I have left because I have full time employment. The money really is as good as they say, however I was owner driver. The managers were good and there for me every step of the way. Amazon have very strict rules and protocols but if you follow them you be ok. I have had all my money owed payed so my advice if your thinking of doing it is go for it. The work’s demanding an sometimes physical but you will be well payed. Good luck.

Disgusting.....worked my last 2days and didnt get paid for them rang them up about it and said I owed for the repair of the van that I had already sorted out! No invoice for the last and basically banked my vat money which should of been paid 1st and foremost! Worked hard for them and gave my all to be tret like an idiot!! Never again lesson learned

Keep away from Deva services they rip you off I do not care about your safety or wellbeing they are the worst paid as a multi drop keep away from them discriminate and treat you unfair you will get the worst deliveries and you will get the lowest pay really bad and manager on site is very two-faced there's a lot of stuff getting brushed under the carpet so please go with someone else they charge you payments for paying your tax they charge you the random things where you don't know ups with a £200 a week for your van and you're not guaranteed to work 6 days or 5 so if you get 2 days you're only paying for your van so you are out of pocket Deva services is so bad so please keep away from them as Russell is very two-faced as well nothing in this company runs right so I really hope use go with someone else keep away from Deva services you've been warned they will rip you off of your money and they will pay you less all the time and you only get 14 pence a mile so you are pulling more out and you've got a use your own phone and if you break it you cannot work you need to buy a lot of equipment to start this role like battery packs phone leads phone holders and you're more out-of-pocket of your diesel so go with somebody else as this company is very bad from the start then you suffer from mental health and I had five children so they use a lot against you so my advice will be to anybody keep away from them

Interview for position after rushing through all forms - 135 pound a day, start work a week later, turns into 80 after tax, routes weren't routes mostly sweeps, but nah you get paid the same for all routes, get paid 40 pound for a whole day of driving cross country, used 280 pound petrol, get 125 back... Gives me handover Document, find out after asking where my other paycheck was, oh no its a damages form as well which you signed, charges me 400 quid for other peoples scuff marks on the van...all in all, easier working for a chinese sweatshop, do not work for these clowns.
