A lovely pub and excellent food. It gets very busy so please book a table. Only down side is the pack of parking. Car park was full, and so was the road. Otherwise it was excellent

Stopped for a quick pint on way back from visiting my wife. Beautiful place on the edge of the Cotswolds, friendly staff, good local beer. Not cheap - but, where is nowadays with costs rising all the time? I'm surprised anywhere like this survives. Well worth a visit - especially on a sunny afternoon, with the river burbling, the ducks on the water, and the boats quacking. Perfect. Didn't visit any of the rooms, so cannot comment - but pub/restaurant areas all well kept and well appointed. Enjoy!

We went here for lunch today and what a wonderful treat it was. The food and ambiance was fabulous and you could tell it was a cut above its peers. The staff were well mannered and interested, smiled and said please and thank you. The only downside was it was busy and slightly understaffed for our lunchtime visit so service was slower than perfect for us but I am sure for others it was just right. Will come again for sure and we’ll worth the visit

We visited the restaurant for an evening meal.The service and the atmosphere were great but the food wasn't as good as the reviews suggested. They had very limited vegetarian choices and of the limited choices, the pasta was under seasoned.

Owner is always welcoming. Nice location, but up the side of the pub where the tables are could do with something to make it more inviting, hanging baskets or something. Stopped here for a coffee.It's a very small pub. Food is always good though, can't fault it.

I can't rate the rooms as I did not stay just stopped for food. The place is not the easiest to find which is a plus and a minus. If you are looking for restful place it's definitely that.The service was good with friendly welcoming staff who made is feel nothing was any trouble.The food was fantastic although the menu was very limited and nothing plain for the pickier eater. As was to be expected for good quality food it had a quality price tag. I would recommend a visit if you want some good food in peaceful surroundings.

My wife and enjoyed a beautiful lunch at The swan in Swinbrook, Burford, today. The location, decor, service and meals were all excellent.Ideally situated in scenic Cotswold countryside. Well worth a visit - you will not be disappointed.

This is the 4th time we have stayed here when we go to RIAT. So peaceful, lovely clean rooms, good food & friendly staff.Not the cheapest but just love to sit in the garden relaxing & enjoying a drink when the bantams are roaming about.We look forward to returning next year
