Brooklands Nursing Home

Dated place but it keeps my mum safe she's has young dementia vascular dementia and heart failure. Staff are lovely and welcoming. I feel they are keeping mum safe. She is at the best health she has been all year. Can visit my mum when ever I want to staff and manager very approachable. Can recommend they work hard!

My elderly Brother spent a month or two in Brooklands and was very Happy there, the staff are very friendly and he enjoyed the food, Basically he was very well looked after when he needed it.

Brooklands Nursing Home, in our opinion excelled in the one thing that it had to do; look after our Mum during the last few challenging months of her life.The care team provided unfaltering attention to Mum, and in many cases excelled in what we could have reasonably expected, always with a smile and cheery disposition.From the very first contact right through to her last day, the team were attentive and so caring, letting us place photographs on the walls, and even opening her little drop of wine, when she fancied it.In her last few days we stayed with her 24/7. We were constantly checked on and offered Tea and Coffee. If we wanted anything it was never too much trouble, a real feeling of support and genuine care.We only get one “Chance” to make the end of somebody’s life as comfortable, peaceful and dignified as possible, with the fantastic support of Brooklands and the team, we truly know in our case this was achieved.Each and every member of staff made a fantastic impression on us all, somehow managing to turn a really upsetting time for us, into a time that we will look back on with a smile.The building looks a bit tired from the outside, and the home is older than many, but it has a big heart and our family highly recommend Brooklands.

My Aintie was In this home passed away yesterday my uncle said one member of staff was very rude and keep Putting phone down on him I also see the same lady and 5 other members of staff my auntie belongings was put in a cleaning room and and was locked and the staff took Keys home not happy with how my family was treated and also ring us to collect death certificate and wasn’t even there and shouldn’t of even done that as it was ment to be a electronic done I found out

Superb care home, stimulating activities on my visit, caring staff, clean premises, well.managed and friendly.

My father recently passed away in the home after a short illness, he had a comfortable passing thanks to the team and the GP they use. Can't ask for more really.

Nursing home for people with dementia in nice quiet environment

I cannot praise the staff here enough, who cares if the building is old and tired, the staff here are absolutely fantastic and so caring, they have given my mother the most dignified ending to her life. I cannot fault anyone one of them, every single staff member is truly trained on how care is supposed to be, you are amazing, thank you all for just caring.

All the staff very welcoming and friendly. My uncle is being very well cared for.
