Stayed overnight for a night out, room was lovely and clean, got an iron from the front desk with ease. Only thing I will say is ports by the bed are USB A so I had to plug my phone in across the room because I use USB C fast chargers for my phone. Literally a 3 minute walk to The Boston so perfect for a great night!

The room needed to be updated and cleaner. The kettle and bathroom needed to be cleaner. IT DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME STANDARD when I compare it to Travelodge Cardiff.Problems:1) The room generally needs to be updated.2) The bathroom curtain angle was misfit, and all the water leaked out of the shower.3) The TV remote control wasn't working; also, the TV was ancient.4) I felt the label of the mattress under the bed sheet. There is no extra layer.I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel deserve 5 star based on everything. It is located to the main centre of Northampton town centre at the famous gold street. Receptionist at the hotel is also very friendly and cooperative. Rooms are very tidy and comfortable. Night time is quite and safe to sleep. Security system of the hotel is also impressive. It also provide safety chair for disable people. Overall it deserve 5 star as it is.

You pay for what you get. Bed was comfy enough and shower worked even though flooded the floor. It was good for a base only.Staff moved my cousin with no hassle from a faulty room with no electric sockets working and cleaning smell unbearable and blood on carpet.Tips1. This is a temporary accommodation for social housing, so a hostel really2. Parking is 7m down the road as no car park.3. If disabled or have Blue badge call hotel for alternative postcode to park round the back of building4. There are plenty of food places and shops as in a main run of Northampton5. You pay for WiFiOverall, the worse hotel I've stayed in for a while. I seriously cannot recommend unless you are on a budget

Geniuley the filthiest Hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in numerous Travellodges due to my occupation. The hallways and lift look like they have not been cleaned in an extremely long time. The room had blood on the carpet, bugs on the bed, cobwebs hanging off of the walls at eye level. Dust and dirt covered everything. Bathroom was filthy. I bet they are saving a fortune on cleaners!! Not fit for purpose and an embarrassment to the brand!!

Standard layout, decoration and bed for Travelodge....... But for some reason they've decided that an air-conditioning unit in the wall would be a great way to hear a room that you pay to sleep inIt's obnoxiously loud and comes with obsolete instructions as the controls are different from the ones that they tell you how to usePair this with the fact that they appear to ALWAYS leave their windows open between guests occupying a room and it was literally the worst night I've ever had at a Travelodge

Good location, rubbish rooms with disgusting and filthy facilities, all staff been good except 2 which are horrible and useless, cleaners are fantastic and respectful better than the other 2 useless staffs. 1 staff is overweight and so slow to do things just unfit , useless, horrible and way to slow to move. his trousers are falling off and is very unprofessional. His name is MARK avoid the big horrible beast he won’t help you at all and you won’t get anywhere with him at reception. Too busy sleeping inside or smoking outside. Not a good thing to see when they are in reception or on shift. Everyone else very good. Overall experience just bad, like death AVOID AT ALL TIMES!!! Not recommended unless your on a budget or staying there for a night or two, not good for long term.

This place was once the “Grand Hotel”. Sadly now though the glamour and grandeur have gone. The rooms are basic and what you would expect from a Travelodge. The bathrooms are a little tired but serviceable. Bed linen seems clean and it would appear we are in a room with new carpet and curtains. Nice touch of USB charging plugs in the room. The rooms are very quiet and secluded so there’s no noise from late night revellers.

The staff were friendly. The whole building reakes of mildew, the carpet in my room felt clammy and damp underfoot. It smells like a washing machine that hasn't been emptied for three days. The carpets are discoloured, the bathroom has mold, the window ledges are rotten. It's old, dilapidated, and the walls are paper thin.

Hotel was centrally located, plenty of shops, restaurants around. Little interaction with the staff.Room was terrible. TV didn't work, room was too hot with no way to regulate temperature. Relatively clean, although there was a bit of plastic rubbish under the bed.Damp smell in the stair well, set my asthma off a couple times. Spent two nights there.Twon nights two long.Definitely wont stop here again.
