Croxteth Hall & County Park The Main Car Park

The park is large but has paths sprawling across and throughout it to see as much of it as possible - though if you’re not afraid of a muddy trail there are extra areas through which you can enjoy a scenic walk.The hall/manor is an old stately home. I’m unsure if they still offer tours or indeed of the walled gardens - but if you’re a tourist or local history buff (and they do still offer them) I highly recommend it. There are also two lakes and a river, which you can enjoy views of and/or a walk along.There is a working farm, which you can visit and a children’s play area - both of which are well maintained. There is a coffee van and public toilets, which are cleaned often, available too. There is also a horse stable and riding school.People in peddle bikes are common, as are dogs on walks. There are organised group activities too, such as running clubs etc.My only real complaint about it, is the entrance road to the main car park, and subsequent car parks is, at this point verging on having sink holes rather than pot holes, they’ve grown so big.

Large free car park within a short walk of Croxteth Hall. It's a shame there are so many pot holes on the drive between the road and the car park. Most can be avoided with care, but I was a little concerned at one point. Would be 5 stars if they were filled in.

Lovely place to visit with family or for community centres to bring kids on trips

Big park to walk your dog lots off trees and path to choose, horses can be seen, on private land within the park, also there is free carparks 3 of them but usually the third is the busiest one.

Obviously the hall was closed due to the lockdown restrictions but the park is beautiful ideal for walk and daily exercise

Plenty of parking spaces but bad speed humps and pot holes on access road. Liable to flooding in parts as well in heavy rain.

The bumps need removing or changing. They scrape under my car as I only have a small car, one of these days it's going to do some damage. There is also a massive pot hole that needs fixing.
