I went for my passport renewal and it was done promptly in less than an hour with friendly and polite officials.

My recent experience with the Italian Consulate in Birmingham has been incredibly frustrating. I would strongly advise anyone dealing with passport or consulate matters to visit the consulate directly in Manchester, rather than relying on this consulate's services.Firstly, the consulate introduced a significant delay in our application process by sending it to Manchester approximately a month later to the already lengthy passport renewal application process.What's even more disappointing is the false information provided by consulate staff. They offered vague assurances about when my application would be processed, citing timeframes like 3 months" or "X month" without any concrete knowledge. This lack of transparency only added to the uncertainty and stress of the process.Additionally

How the hell can we book an appointment if you do-not answer the phone ?

Won’t let us in because we don’t have an appointment and talk rudely towards us. Appointments online are unavailable so they tell us we are wasting our time and should just go home.

Had to wait in the queue for 4hrs just to get my passport renewed which only took about 5-6 minutes inside!! Awful experience, I don’t recommend this experience to other people!!

So hard to even get in touch with them.I really would like to know why no one pick up the phone.Such a shame.

The vice-conlate needs a Gardner... The bushes are closing the path to go in side... The consulate just accept people throw the back door...This is a little bit confusing... Because a lot people stay at the front waiting, and same times they make a line in front but the real line is at the back..

We went to renew the kids passport and the people were super nice.. We didn't have to book an appointment for the kids and the lady attended to us very politely. We had issues with my daughter's passport photo and they were kind and patient enough to wait for us to go take her another photo ID at the last minutes of closing time. The process was easy and fast. I really appreciate their efforts.Children's passport renewal : 2 passport photos,A form for both parents to sign and fill once you get there, proof of address (council tax), All original passports of parents and kids, and passport fee to pay.I hope this is helpful.

Can't get an appointment for my passport. Have been trying more then four months. Never get any answer when I call them.DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVIE!!!
